Mr Biden, Mr McCain, do you even get the hypocrisy coming out of your mouths? First off our international reputation has been improving since Jan 20 2017, second off you can't improve our international standing by pissing on the office of the President. Sort of like standing at a podium and proclaiming your love for the country, but half way through the speech stopping to blow your nose on the American flag. Fucking idiots. Wait, what? |
The fact that this turncoat wants Obama to eulogize him tells me everything about his character I need to know. We can only hope that that fucking narcissist can’t help himself and accidentally reveals McCain’s true perfidy at his grave. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

All he has done since Trump got elected is harm the country. In what is hopefully his final political act, he does it again by giving more ammo for the MSM to attack DT. I hope JM finds peace, the horrors he's endured certainly have haunted him since.

Yes, at least that's what I thought when I heard this. But McCain is a small, bitter man. I say he is small, not in stature, for that doesn't matter, but in virtue, which does matter. John McCain never found a cause greater than himself to fearlessly advocate from his position as a US Senator.
Joe Lieberman, who became an independent, but continued to caucus with the Democrats, is/was something John McCain was not: authentic. Joe Lieberman had problems with the Democrats, but wasn't a Republican and had the guts and honesty to run as an independent. While not with any one party, you always knew where Joe Lieberman stood on an issue. John McCain, OTOH, could be counted on only to stick his finger in the wind and determine what he thought would be of most benefit to John McCain at the moment. John McCain ran as a Republican, but never missed an opportunity to stick a knife in the back of his "fellow" Republicans, if he could see any personal benefit. If he had been honest and declared himself an Independent, he never would have been re-elected... and that wouldn't have been good for John McCain. "Some things are apparent. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Who in their right mind actually plans the guest list for their funeral? That stated, if I understand correctly it is the Vice President who normally would attend funerals of heads of state and such. Only in the case of an extraordinary leader or person would a sitting president attend. It seems McCain's inflated ego makes him believe he is one of those extraordinary persons and is even so much so that he can decide the president should not attend. He is an incredibly narcissistic asshole. ----------------------------------- Regards, Steve The anticipation is often greater than the actual reward

Everyone should skip his funeral. A riotous, joyful celebration is not really appropriate at a funeral.

I don't care what McCain may-- or may not-- have done 50 years ago. We don't celebrate the stellar military career of Benedict Arnold-- an outstanding battlefield tactician, a brave leader, wounded in battle. He was a traitor. That eclipses everything. McCain was a traitor to his country, consistently working with the Democrats to weaken and undermine America throughout his 40 or so years in government. As a presidential candidate, he was a disgrace, actually helping to put Obama in the White House. When he voted not long ago against repealing Obamacare, Obama personally called to thank him. To thank him for keeping the abomination of Obamacare alive. Everybody dies. McCain is not doing anything special, despite the brouhaha about his impending death. It's how he lived that matters. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

Stellar military career? Bullshit. So how many aircraft did that creep lose before he bailed out over N Vietnam? Not to mention rumors of collusion with the ememy. Was it four maybe five? https://www.factcheck.org/2008...cains-plane-crashes/ If the old fart didn't have daddy taking care of him, where would he be. Probably not a Senator. On the way to vainglorious heliocentricity, John McCain as a U.S. senator was unconvincing as a selfless statesman, an indefatigable advocate of his own press clippings. In his thirty years in the U.S. Senate, John McCain accomplished nothing, neither for his constituents nor for the nation. Yet he dreams of odes and eulogies, delivered by rivals and friends alike, for whom he could rarely muster a kind word, let alone a graceful final gesture. McCain gleefully bargained away, or more aptly auctioned off, his respected if not sympathetic heroic image – a man of inestimable courage and endurance under unimaginable circumstances. He morphed into an opportunistic sunshine patriot, malignantly self-centered, whose reward was fleeting adoration by media liberals using McCain to attack their antagonists when convenient. John McCain could be trusted for a sound bite trashing presidents of his own party and voting against the interest of everyday Americans when it mattered, but little else. His passing will be mourned, customarily so. Whatever demons having possessed John McCain's better instincts will mercifully search for a different host. Even Daniel Webster wouldn't be able to rescue McCain's ignoble political reputation. https://www.americanthinker.co...and_john_mccain.html "Some things are apparent. The kindest thing I can summon in reference to John McCain is an old Texas saying I learned while at Ft. Sam Houston eons ago: "He's all hat, no cattle"... I wouldn't attend his funeral if were being held at the funeral home just down the street at the corner. Don _______________________ Living the Dream... One Day at a Time.

5, I believe, counting the one he ejected from. Two were officially ruled "pilot error." Two more were highly suspect. I was not saying his military record was stellar. I was saying "even if," which is quite different. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

No double standards |
Not to speak ill of the soon-to-be departed. McCain has displayed zero character or integrity while serving as an elected official. I don't think the label "self-serving traitor" is unwarranted. So , do you think Trump will issue the order for all flags to flown at half staff ? I'm the guy at the office that usually handles that duty and I already told them to find somebody else if it comes to that .
