I say this politely- you don’t know what you’re talking about. We already fight Iranians discreetly. I don’t want a war over a robot. I don’t care that we lost one. If they sent one of theirs over our secret mission locations we’d shoot it down and that would be that. What do you think they’d do if we attacked? Who do you think the world will support? Trump made the right call, under tremendous pressure to start another stupid war he pulled us back. | |||

Any country that thinks we are weak is blind. If they had shot down the P-8 Patrol aircraft with 35 people on board, they would be reaping it (and deservedly so). And they knew that, so they are sticking to chickenshit mine attacks on tankers and shooting down a robot. Trump is "walking softly, but carrying a big stick", ala Teddy Roosevelt.
