New York City was the first large metropolitan area to require vaccination identification cards to enter restaurants, bars, dining establishments and various public and private venues. Now comes the enforcement part.

Watch this video below to see the New York Police Department (NYPD) start deploying vaccination police, and making arrests of people who do not present papers to prove their status.

When asked why they would arrest their own community members simply for being unvaccinated and wanting to eat a sandwich, the police turn a deaf ear.

A few weeks ago I had a wonderful talk to one of our local LE officers about how they are not enforcing our city wide mask mandate. Acting like NYPD with that mandate is how LE loses faith, trust and any good will they had with the public at large. I am glad my local LE is smarter than that.

Around my neck of the woods less than 1/2 the people around me are wearing masks. It’s a start. Sadly, there are people who walk around my neighborhood by themselves with masks on. I feel bad for them but it’s their choice to voluntarily look stupid.

But the police are just following orders...

Commie/fascists are going to play commie/fascist games. I barely recognize the United States as a country. I want to believe that my fellow Tennesseans would not be so reluctant to surrender our freedom. The migration of conservatives pouring out of these shithole states will have very interesting consequences on our elections causing much more geographic division, assuming our elections are held fairly. Our country is fracturing and rotting from the inside out. I can not see a path toward reconciliation until one of the competing ideologies completely destroys the other. To remain a union our country has to decide to go one way or the other.

I don't think I know any cops who would go along with those orders. They'd quit or wait until they got fired for refusing. We should be scared of police who would carry out such orders. At least I'll never have a need to travel to NYC again. NJ is as close as I go and their mask mandates are pretty much a joke with cops not involved at all.

If I'm going to be arrested it's going to be for something an awful lot more serious than a vaccine.

I agree with most of the sentiments expressed here, shame on those "public servants." OTOH, they undoubtedly swore an oath to uphold the law so the greater onus falls on the law makers. Not to mention that the restaurant and bar owners are complicit as well, if they were raising a stink about this, and perhaps deferring their weekly "political contribution," there might be some pull-back from the politicos.

These are not police officers. Jack booted thugs they are.

My comments on this board in the past clearly detail my support of police, so take this as a bit of an evolution of that position. My support is not guaranteed and I am having an increasing difficult time defending the police in general when this sort of shit is occurring. There simply is no excuse for this behavior. None. Wow. It's crazy how far these liberal urban areas have gone. Where I live, I haven't seen a mask outside of a hospital or doctor's office in months. You woudn't even know Covid existed if the media would stop talking about it...and our infection rate isn't any worse than NYC's.

I drove down I-65 to southern Alabama yesterday, and was surprised how many masks I saw in gas stations and rest areas...apparently rural northern Indiana is something of a bubble.

nyc is finished. Fifty percent of this Nations population will never spend another tourist $ there. And the LEO's there are going to have to deal with what I am sure will soon be some "less-than-pleasant" resistance. The few restaurants and retail establishments still open will be bankrupt and closed by February. But hey - it's for the greater good. Fauci and Co. are using nyc as a test kitchen. And now we know what China Joe was referring to this weekend when he said the feds will let the States deal with the vaccination issue.

Curious how many people were robbed, mugged and murdered in nyc while the vax thugs harassed law abiding citizens and children.

How do these people go home at night and explain what they did at work to their spouses? How about when their mother or father calls them on the phone?

If they put that much effort into catching criminals NYC would be a much safer place.

They are violating the restaurant’s rules and are trespassing. The violators were given the opportunity to leave without arrest and they decided to take the “patriot“ route.
They deserve zero sympathy.

With the number of cops involved in that restaurant roust, there must not be much crime in the rest of NYC
