Let’s go Dodgers! We went to Angels stadium for some damn reason to watch a last Spring Training Day game, Dodgers won 4-1. We drove about 3 hrs to get there, watch about 2 hours of ball game, then I hauled ass home for an hour haha. We got the Fubo to watch playoff ball so I guess I’m on the hook for a few more months and will take the fam to Dodger Stadium next time. Lets go Dodgers, {clap clap clap clap clap} ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, was just a freight train coming your way...

Low, and he walks the bases loaded on 12 straight pitches. How can these guys lay off pitches that close? Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. Well, at least they will spend part of the season above 500. :-) Ha Ha. This is exactly what I texted my Cub fan BIL after they won game one and had a day off on day 2.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Powers77,

Sure am glad baseball season is here, even though the Royals lost their first game.

Mariners already suck. Bring back the same deadbeats that can't hit. Good grief that is old. ![]() "Practice like you want to play in the game"

This is already causing some controversy in the baseball world. Just found out they are made in King of Prussia, PA which is right next to Valley Forge and not far from Philly, the company makes a lot of bats for Phillies players too. They look like giant bowling pins to me! https://x.com/nypost/status/1906711137363664929

How could it take 150 years to figure this out? More meat in the sweet spot and faster bat speed with the lighter tip. I'll guess the addition of the thinner tip is needed for balance/resonance as opposed to just a shorter bat, I dunno. Seems to be a huge game changer. One of those asterisk in the record books kinda deals. Set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

I think it has more to do with moving the weight closer to the hands personally, increasing bat speed. Better driven hits that are too far out on the bat? Either way... Let me know when the oven mitts go away. ![]()

I’ve been wanting to take my two boys to a Phillies game now for a couple years and was able to score 4 amazing free tickets for the game Thursday through Vet Tix. They are SO excited! And our players will be wearing the very iconic powder blue/maroon throwback uniform too.

PASig, I hope you and your boys had fun!
The Cubs are looking good... And the Cardinals pulled off a series win against the Phillies for the first time in a long time. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

We did! It was a great game, we won. It was my boys first time to Citizens Bank Park and they loved every minute. One of the Phillies players hit a foul ball just past us there and at the end of the game I heard “hey kid!” and the guy who caught it tossed it down to my younger son, he was over the moon. Too bad the Phillies are starting to stink now, I don’t know what’s going on ![]() That’s me with my two sons and my FIL. Really amazing seats thanks to Vet Tix, never got to sit that close before! ![]() ![]()
