Let’s go Dodgers! We went to Angels stadium for some damn reason to watch a last Spring Training Day game, Dodgers won 4-1. We drove about 3 hrs to get there, watch about 2 hours of ball game, then I hauled ass home for an hour haha. We got the Fubo to watch playoff ball so I guess I’m on the hook for a few more months and will take the fam to Dodger Stadium next time. Lets go Dodgers, {clap clap clap clap clap}

Low, and he walks the bases loaded on 12 straight pitches. How can these guys lay off pitches that close?

96% of pre-game bets favored the Twinkies.
But the undefeated Cardinals are at least tied for the lead in the division...

Well, at least they will spend part of the season above 500. :-)

Ha Ha. This is exactly what I texted my Cub fan BIL after they won game one and had a day off on day 2.

Sure am glad baseball season is here, even though the Royals lost their first game.

Mariners already suck. Bring back the same deadbeats that can't hit. Good grief that is old. Frown

This is already causing some controversy in the baseball world. Just found out they are made in King of Prussia, PA which is right next to Valley Forge and not far from Philly, the company makes a lot of bats for Phillies players too.

They look like giant bowling pins to me!

How could it take 150 years to figure this out? More meat in the sweet spot and faster bat speed with the lighter tip. I'll guess the addition of the thinner tip is needed for balance/resonance as opposed to just a shorter bat, I dunno. Seems to be a huge game changer. One of those asterisk in the record books kinda deals.

I think it has more to do with moving the weight closer to the hands personally, increasing bat speed. Better driven hits that are too far out on the bat? Either way...

This. There ought to at least be a rule on the length.

I’ve been wanting to take my two boys to a Phillies game now for a couple years and was able to score 4 amazing free tickets for the game Thursday through Vet Tix.

They are SO excited!

And our players will be wearing the very iconic powder blue/maroon throwback uniform too.
