All indications point to another year of really mediocre baseball by my St. Louis Cardinals.

Yeah... but on opening day...
Anything is possible!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Life must be difficult for the A's since they have no stadium this year.

No city either. Done with Oakland and Vegas isn't ready yet.

They are apparently doing home games in some small minor league field. What happens if they make it to the world series?

Maybe they do it like the Super Bowl & have it at a neutral field? Or borrow SD/LA for something nearby

God is in his heaven, and the Red Sox have won their first game of the season.

In celebration, Sweet Caroline for the 7th inning stretch, and Dirty Water and Tessie as victory songs.

Cards win!

96% of pre-game bets favored the Twinkies.
But the undefeated Cardinals are at least tied for the lead in the division...
