hard to keep up w all the new "players" in the Clinton fabricated attack on Donald Trump

But Durham has opened a brand new door

Steele and Danchenko had claimed Sergei Millian was a source for the dossier (including the pee tape story)

Turns out Millian wasn't the source for any of the dossier

but Charles Dolan was . Dolan was a Clinton operative.

With the Danchenko indictment and public comments by Dolan's lawyer, we have a Clinton operative feeding fabrications into the dossier.

If only we had an honest MSM

Dolan was also communicating w Paul Wood (former UK ambassador to Russia). Wood worked w Steele and told John McCain about the dossier.

An excellent article. More in link.

"To my good friend ... A Great Democrat." Those words written to a Russian figure in Moscow, inside a copy of a Hillary Clinton autobiography, may be the defining line of special counsel John Durham's investigation. The message reportedly was written by Charles Dolan, a close Clinton adviser and campaign regular whom news reports identify as the mysterious "PR-Executive 1" in the latest Durham indictment, this time of Igor Danchenko.

The question is whether Durham really wants to indict just the figurative tail if he can get the whole dog - a question that now may weigh heavily on a number of Washington figures, just as it did following Durham's indictment in September of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann.

Danchenko's indictment on five counts of lying to the FBI serves two obvious purposes. First, these counts - with a possible five years in prison on each - are enough to concentrate the mind of any defendant about possibly flipping for the prosecution. Second, indicting Danchenko "hoists the wretch" for potential targets to see and consider that there but for the grace of God - and Durham - go they…

This post is a mix of known info and a game of "connect the dots"

The source of some of the recent input is from the twitter account of walkafyre

This is a high level summary, there is much supporting detail that may get posted later
There are a few rough edges that need smoothing, but this is the framework

Charles Dolan has been identified as the Public Relations person who was feeding false claims about Russia/Trump to Danchenko.
Danchenko passed these claims along to Christopher Steele.

12 Dec 2016 Charles Dolan proposes to do PR work to Alexey Gubarev for the company Servers.com
Servers.com is partnered w Webzilla (another Gubarev company)

13 Dec 2016 is the date on the last report that is part of the dossier. In that report, Steele writes that XBT/Webzilla and its affiliates have been transmitting viruses and stealing data from Democratic party leadership. "Gubarov" is named in this Steele report.

Remember this report is not public immediately.

15 Dec 2016 Gubarev tells Dolan his PR proposal is too expensive.

21 Dec 2016 Gubarev's company writes to Dolan "Hello Chuck, we might need some of your services"

Why ?

Dolan replies w work that costs $350 per hour

10 Jan 2017 Steele dossier becomes public

11 Jan 2017 Gubarev writes to Dolan "need to find out who make this stupid report"

12 Jan 2017 Dolan writes a PR statement for Gubarev denying the dossier claims about XBT/Webzilla

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dolan is feeding Danchenko fabrications for the Steele reports, and charging Gubarev $350 / hour to deny those reports.

Talk about working both sides of the street

This POS is disgusting. Turns out he is very central to this conspiracy. He may have been dealing directly w Clinton people and not telling Steele.

"His work was deemed credible by the FBI" The FBI reported that when he said Steele's reports were false, Danchenko was credible.

These people twist things in bizarre ways and turn white to black and vice versa.

We have previously talked about "watch items". Things that are suspicious but not proven.

From the Durham indictments and an Eric Felten story, Fiona Hill is a new watch item

https://www.realclearinvestiga...ill_lied_802878.html

Fiona Hill was a longtime intelligence analyst who became a deputy assistant on the Trump administration’s National Security Council, was a key witness in the Ukraine-related impeachment of President Trump.

As part of the impeachment proceedings, Hill gave closed-door testimony to House lawmakers and investigators for the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence

Hill said “I have no knowledge whatsoever of how he developed that dossier. None. I just want to state that.”

But now we know Fiona Hill introduced Danchenko to Christopher Steele, and she also introduced Danchenko to Charles Dolan.
Fiona Hill knew Steele from earlier work on Russia.

Hillary Clinton - Charles Dolan
Fiona Hill - Dolan - Danchenko - Steele

Dolan fed Danchenko key material that went into the Steele dossier reports

but “I have no knowledge whatsoever of how he developed that dossier. None."

Washington Post is correcting their earlier stories that Sergei Millian was a major source for the Steele dossier.

so if Millian wasn't the source who was ?

Dolan's lawyer admits that Dolan is the one named in the Danchenko indictment

we went from a dossier source being some obscure unconnected person like Sergei Millian to the very well connected Charles Dolan

at least we caused Steele to feel disappointed

https://news.sky.com/story/chr...ings-threat-12441022

A news website published the so-called dossier in January 2017, drawing furious denials from the then president-elect and forcing Mr Steele and his family into hiding.

Mr Steele claimed the fallout from the furore "profoundly affected" the career of his wife, Katherine, who at the time was a crown servant at the Foreign Office.

"Basically that didn't play out at all well," he said.

"She decided at a certain point that, yes, she would have to take early retirement, which is what she did."

Asked how he felt, Mr Steele said: "Pretty angry and disappointed - as she does."

This post is about the Durham indictment of former Perkins Coie lawyer Michael Sussmann

Sussmann is charged w lying to Former FBI General Counsel James Baker. Sussmann reportedly told Baker in Sep 2016 that Sussmann had "no specific client" when he made claims about Russian Alfa Bank communications w Donald Trump.

Sussmann's lawyers filed a motion for an early trial in May 2022. They claimed release of an interview where Baker was fuzzy about what Sussmann actually said.

John Durham has responded to the defense team request for a May 2022 trial.

Durham suggests a 25 July 2022 trial date. He also files that five separate government employees support the indictment allegations.

Some of the govt employees are FBI, and 2 appear to be CIA.

swamp protecting it's own

The former FBI lawyer Clinesmith pled guilty to lying about the inputs for one of the Carter Page FISA warrants.

Clinesmith was sentenced to 12 months probation and was temporarily disbarred by the D.C. bar.

In Sept, The D.C. bar restored his status to "active member" in "good standing".

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

POS lied regarding a Top Secret warrant. And now he is in "good standing"

This post is a low level input about the Durham investigation. more "coincidences"

Igor Dancheno was the primary source for the Steele dossier.
He has been indicted for lying to the FBI.

Durham has filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Virginia
The motion requests the court to inquire if there is a conflict of interest involving Danchenko's attorneys.

Attorneys Danny Onorato and Stuart Sears represent Danchenko.

Durham notes that, in matters before the special counsel , a separate lawyer from their law firm represents the 2016 "Hillary for America" presidential campaign as well as multiple former employees of that campaign.

The interests of the Clinton Campaign and Danchenko might diverge.

For example, each might have have an incentive to shift blame to the other party for any allegedly false info in the Steele reports or provided to the FBI.

In the event one or more former representatives of the Clinton Campaign are called to testify, Danchenko and any such witness would be represented by the same law firm, resulting in potential conflict.

Durham also notes that such potential conflict is waivable if Danchenko chooses to execute a waiver.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So the two points of interest are
#1 Danchenko and Clinton Campaign have lawyers from same law firm

#2 The Clinton Campaign "has matters" before the Special Counsel

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

adding info from

https://trib247.com/articles/r..._campaign=Newsletter

One of Danchenko's real sources was Charles Dolan, an advisor to the 2016 Clinton Campaign

Interesting that Perkins Coie law firm isn't representing the Clinton crowd. Perkins Coie may be feeling some heat. Marc Elias and Michael Sussmann left Perkins Coie.

Danchenko was originally represented by Chris Schafbuch and Mark Shamel. They have dropped out of the case. Stuart Sears appeared for Danchenko on 6 Dec.

Helpful hint: "Chinese walls" are widely assumed to be worthless among lawyers and those who've dealt with them. Being the less prominent (and less profitable, and foreign) client and all, I wouldn't sign or otherwise agree to that waiver at gunpoint if I were Danchenko.

A new glimpse into the Durham investigation. But things still seem pretty obscure.

Former Perkins Coie lawyer Michael Sussmann has been charged w lying to the FBI.

The trial is scheduled for about May 2022. The defense has been pressing for the govt to give them all the "discovery" so the defense can prepare for trial.

John Durham gave the court an update today on the status of providing the discovery.

link to the update:

https://storage.courtlistener.....dcd.235638.33.0.pdf

What strikes me as strange is the massive amount of material being turned over. We have seen "lying to the FBI" is only a cardinal sin if a Trump person is accused.

So why is the discovery so big ?

From the update:

There will be a mix of unclassified and classified material.

The govt has already produced 133,000 pages. The govt expects to produce another 492,285 pages later this week. And more later.

94 reports of interviews have been provided to the defense. Including more than 24 current and former FBI employees. Two former "Agency 1" employees. (DoD ?) Eight current and former employees of Agency-2 (CIA ?). Four current and former employees of University- 1 (Georgia Tech)

Approx 10,881 pages of emails from FBI and CIA relating to charges

Lots, Lots more

The vast majority of what has already released was originally at Secret or Top Secret level.

"In addition, the Special Counsel’s office maintains an active, ongoing criminal investigation of these and other matters that is not limited to the offense charged in the Indictment"

“Special Counsel John Durham is alleging the Justice Department’s internal watchdog has held back information relevant to Durham’s probe into the origins of the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation.

In a court filing last week that updated the discovery process and requested more time to produce materials in the case of Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann, Durham claimed that the DOJ’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) had not informed him that Inspector General Michael Horowitz met with Sussmann in March 2017…”

A new John Durham filing in the case against Michael Sussmann reveals that

Rodney Joffe (thru Neustar ?) had a contract to maintain Presidential servers and provide DNS resolution services for the Office of the President.

Joffe exploited this arrangement by mining the Presidential DNS traffic to gather derogatory information about Donald Trump.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

think about that. This prick had a contract to "serve" the Office of the President, and used that data access to try to frame Donald Trump.

https://storage.courtlistener....cd.235638.35.0_1.pdf

Incredibly frustrating this isn't getting media coverage. This is really damning information about Sussmann, Joffe, and the Clinton Campaign.
