another massive hit job by the NYT A story about Igor Danchenko where they walk thru the pee tape claim and use 15 paragraphs to make the pee tape story seem "reasonable". And the story quotes the FBI as saying Danchenko was "truthful and cooperative". This has been shown to be because Danchenko said the dossier was just rumor and bar talk. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/1...r.html?smid=tw-share Analyst Who Reported the Infamous Trump Tape Rumor Wants to Clear His Name The Steele dossier’s main source explained where its most notorious claim came from — and called Republicans’ accusations that he is a Russian agent “slander.” When the publication of a dossier of unproven rumors about Donald J. Trump and Russia rocked American politics in early 2017, one salacious claim jumped out: Russia intelligence services supposedly had a video showing Mr. Trump cavorting with prostitutes in Moscow’s Ritz-Carlton hotel. ... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The left is pulling out all the stops to attack President Trump And the CIA and FBI let this all happen Danchenko source for the pee tape:

Judge Sullivan continues to act like a total fanatical leftist trying to stretch the Michael Flynn persecution beyond the Nov election In a recent DoJ release of Strzok hand written notes, the FBI copied several "stickies" they had applied w their best guess at the date of the note. Strzok's lawyer complained the notes were "altered" and specifically one of the guessed dates was wrong. Sullivan goes nuts over this FBI DoJ "evidence tampering". Remember Sullivan has ignored case after case of FBI trickery in setting up Flynn and then hiding exculpatory evidence multiple times. So today Sullivan orders DoJ to complete a bunch of "make work" tasks by next Monday.

How is the NYT different from the National Enquirer? There are some things even the National Enquirer won't do. .

That, or the National Inquirer actually prints real news on occasion, the NYT's not so much. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. Every man should have several guns. And several dogs, because a man with a cat is a woman. Kurt Schlichter

I have ZERO faith in the DOJ/FBI. NONE. Barr seems more concerned with protecting the "institution" and not the constitution. He talks a good game but that's all it is. Talk.

Bill Barr and Durham have both been mia for sometime now. Barr should at least be out there making some sort of statements about what the DOJ is doing on well, anything. He hasn't even said anything about his busting up the MS13 gangs for quite awhile. He's been seen or heard nowhere as far as I can tell for awhile now. I don't know if he's part of the swamp or not but it's starting to smell like he's been taking a dip in it now and again. I think after his reelection Trump is going scorched earth on housecleaning. But who can he trust to put in these positions? The swamp is vast and the creatures change like chameleons. "Fixed fortifications are monuments to mans stupidity" - George S. Patton

Igor Danchenko has a gofundme up. Organized by Iggy's friends $4,301 raised towards $250,000 goal "SUPPORT TRUMP-RUSSIA WHISTLEBLOWER IGOR DANCHENKO" Igor was responsible for the research and intelligence in the former MI6 officer’s “Steele Dossier”. He was the first man to expose Russian election interference and elements of Trump team/Russia collusion! His work was deemed credible by the FBI - several campaign figures he identified have been charged/indicted, but since the 2016 election, Igor has had to lay low as officials struggled to keep his heroics a classified secret. Trump’s attack dogs would not cease until he was named and smeared with lies in public earlier this year, in an effort to undermine ongoing and completed investigations into Trump’s campaign. Everything raised in this GoFundMe will be put into a fund dedicated to covering Igor’s huge legal costs and his lost income. He has lost his livelihood and his career as a brilliant analyst. He faces legal action by Russian oligarchs. He is forced to sue the most powerful people in the country having been publicly painted a spy by President Trump, Senator Graham, and Representative Nunes, and he fears for his and his family’s life on a daily basis xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx As so many times in the past, This is not a joke.

follow up to an original post in the President Trump thread. The movie available thru Amazon Prime: "The Plot Against the President" 1hr 31 min is very good. Definitely worth a watch. To get thru it, I had to watch it in 3 different sessions because there is a lot going on. Many good points could be made, but there were three that hit me especially. #1 John Solomon says the scariest thing of all is that the techniques employed against President Trump have been used for years against foreign adversary governments. The CIA and NSA used the well developed tricks to create a "false reality" to target America itself . This was so much more than a political dirty trick. All the complexity, moving parts, dozens (hundreds ?) of actors , and multiple supporting operations from so many directions are all part of the playbook. #2 Devin Nunes put out a memo on 2 Feb 2018 and revealed so much of what had really happened. The FBI redacted some of the memo. McCabe had testified to House Intel Comm in Dec 2017. The FBI redacted that McCabe testified that no surveillance warrant would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele Dossier information. Comey was on a book tour saying he didn't know anything about the dossier being necessary, and Democrats out right denied any such implication by other people. They used the FBI redaction as a shield to deny the truth. #3 Kash Patel said the House Intel Comm interviewed 65 people behind closed doors (incl Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Sally Yates ). Each person was asked a standard question "Do you have any evidence or information that the Trump campaign colluded, conspired, or coordinated with any member of the Russian government ?" All 65 people said "No" behind closed doors. Then a bunch of them went on CNN / MSNBC and said the opposite. There is no penalty for lying to the media

WSJ writes about one Danchenko's sources for the Steele dossier a few highlights up front Olga Galkina (source #3) a 40-year-old Russian public-relations executive named Olga Galkina fed notes to a friend and former schoolmate who worked for Mr. Steele. in Aug 2016, Ms. Galkina was chronically showing up late to work, sometimes appearing drunk. In Nov 2016 she was fired (Typical of the low lifes that Danchenko used for his "well connected" Russian sources) https://www.wsj.com/articles/r...89?mod=djemalertNEWS snips: In the nearly four years since they were published, many of the unverified allegations about President Trump compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele have been widely discredited, including by Special Counsel Robert Mueller ’s investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election. In 2016, Ms. Galkina was working in Cyprus at an affiliate of XBT Holding SA, a web-services company best known for its Webzilla internet hosting unit. XBT is owned by Russian internet entrepreneur Aleksej Gubarev. (Gubarev is now suing Steele) That summer, she received a request from an employee of Mr. Steele to help unearth potentially compromising information on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump ’s links to Russia Ms. Galkina was friends with the employee, Igor Danchenko, since their school days in Perm, a Russian provincial city near the Ural mountains. Ms. Galkina was the source, for instance, of the dossier’s contention that Webzilla played a central role in the 2016 hacking of the Democratic National Committee She was also responsible for the mention of Mr. Gubarev in the dossier as a hacking expert recruited under duress by Russian security services note we already knew all this from recent reports from several great internet sleuths Likewise, she was behind the dossier’s assertion that Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, and Russian intelligence officials, held a secret meeting in Prague in the summer of 2016 to discuss how to pay the hackers and cover up their work A law graduate who spoke five languages and had worked in Russia in a variety of industries But in August 2016 , less than 10 months after her arrival in Cyprus, Ms. Galkina’s employer took steps to fire her. Relations soured to the point where her manager went to authorities in the Cypriot city of Limassol in November of that year and filed a statement with police. According to the statement, which was reviewed by the Journal, Ms. Galkina was chronically showing up late to work, sometimes appearing drunk. The manager told police that an acquaintance of Ms. Galkina had told him he would face deep trouble, including possible death, unless he paid €10,000 ($11,740) in compensation In November 2016, Ms. Galkina was fired. Weeks later, she implicated Webzilla and Mr. Gubarev in the hacking disgruntled employee - making shit up. Fed it to the FBI Mr. Mueller’s investigation didn’t establish a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government because the whole Russia collusion thing was a false fabrication Mr. Danchenko, the Russian national who conducted research for Mr. Steele’s dossier, was identified publicly for the first time this past summer Mr. Danchenko told the FBI that a school friend, referred to in heavily redacted FBI notes as “Source 3,” had provided him with information for Mr. Steele “across a wide range of topics,” and stood as the dossier’s most important contributor. The former high-ranking U.S. national-security official told The Wall Street Journal that the source in question was Ms. Galkina. Danchenko: “I have a longstanding relationship with most of my sources ... and have no reason to believe that any of them fabricated information that was given to me,” “More importantly, I have yet to see anything credible that indicates that the raw intelligence I collected was inaccurate.” The dossier, which consists of reports dated between June and December 2016, sprang from an effort initially commissioned by conservative Republican opponents of Mr. Trump during the presidential primaries and was later continued by Democrats, including the campaign of candidate Hillary Clinton and the DNC. that is misleading. It has been well documented Steele was not paid by any Republicans Mr. Steele, who has said the dossier wasn’t meant for public consumption, through an associate declined to comment and yet Steele shopped it multiple times to major news media but it was "not meant for public consumption". right Mr. Gubarev has filed a libel lawsuit against Mr. Steele in the U.K. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx a biased misleading article from WSJ note: —Nonna Fomenko in Moscow contributed to this article.
