We have an hour yet, before the polls close in the Panhandle.

The Panhandle/Central time is 1,000,000.

Given the average under voting age is 25% of the population, that leaves 3/4 million possible votes.

It ain't over 'til it's over.

Voted mid afternoon, me and 1 other guy were there. Shame on me for not knowing this beforehand but there were 20+ people running for governor. The only one I recognized was the republican...that was easy.

Agreed sigmonkey. We are right around the same count we were at in 2016 at around this time. The panhandle delivers A LOT of Republican votes in the last 20% of reporting or so.

Stacey Adams appears to be losing 2:1. Some common sense people live in Georgia. California people have not moved there yet.

I voted at 5:45 PM, I was number 816. In 2016 I was a similar number at roughly the same time. Wifey voted after me and does not recall her number but I bet it was over 850 which is good turnout for our precinct.

I voted on my way to work tonight here in CA. It is our best chance in amny years to get a repub governor... though probably not a good chance.

I'm streaming The Young Turks tonight on Youtube for my results since watching recaps of their 2016 coverage have brought me so much joy over the last two years.

After having it on for less than 5 minutes they've said "Here we go again" twice already.

It took twice the time to get home thanks to Illinois DOT and a trucker ran me half way off the road trying to squeeze his 70 foot rig in the 2 car lengths in front of me. Wheh I voted with 10 minutes to spare.

The local Houston CBS news is reporting that turnout has surpassed 2014 mid-term turnout as well as the 2012 Presidential election turnout.
