Everyone, and I mean everyone, in this country is better off than they were two years ago. There is no denying that fact. Our country is safer, more prosperous, and more respected than it has been in nearly 30 years. Yet, half of the people here want to take all of that away.

It simply boggles the mind.

Scott is already giving his victory speech on Fox while Fox still lists his race as too close to call. Roll Eyes

Come on Fox, we expect better from you. Their coverage and handling of the election results could definitely have been better. Yes, some of your hosts are knowledgeable and/or entertaining, but your overall presentation and process could be improved.

Meh. The sitting party always loses seats in the off year election. Tonight is no different.

Americans seemed to have voted for gridlock and they have it. Pelosi is already moderating Dem impeachment calls so she knows it's not a good issue.

This is better for Trump than when BHO was in office and didn't have either body. Dems will pass stuff knowing the Repubs will not go along. The 2020 election has already started.

Harris and Booker will make lots of appearances with Nan to bolster their chances.

Expect a lot of EOs from Trump and prayers by the Dems that RBG doesn't croak in the next 24 months.

Yeah. Ole ruthie is trying to hang on, but I don’t know for how long.

One item of interest the commentators on Fox mentioned was that 58? new or returning Dem reps are on record as not supporting Pelosi for Speaker. Would the alternative Speaker candidate be a negotiator or an intransigent leader?

I feel exactly the same way.

Very happy that the senate was held with some gains but sickened that the lefties made gains in the house.

Here in Wisconsin, governer Walker took us out of billion dollar defecits, lowered property taxes across the board, brought Foxconn to the state, and presides over the lowest unemployment in state history and he is still close to losing.

Like everywhere else in the country, the accomplice media is a powerfull tool for the lefties...

What I like best about this election is:
Gillum lost
Nelson losing. 99% sure that holds.
McGaskill gone
Heitkamp gone
Jeff Flake is gone and is now a meaningless footnote to the greatest presidency we’ve had in a long time.

And with a buffer like that, we can likely reliably get a very conservative justice like Amy Coney Barrett without worrying about Collins and Murkowski.

As far as losing the House, if the dems go full retard in the next two years, I can only see that hurting them and benefitting Trump in 2020.

I was at an event last week where John King from CNN and Karl Rove were the keynote speakers. King gave a presentation on and Rove spoke about how it was actually quite unusual with Trump's presidency that the senate would NOT be lost. Trump as compared to others, especially Bill Clinton, is winning big time with gains in the senate and the relatively low number of lost house seats at this point in his term. I think it is even more remarkable considering how strong a headwind of resistance Mr. Trump has withstood as compared to previous presidents. It is a remarkable time in history we are part of right now.
One thing that stuck out to me from the event with King and Rove was how the commies are focussed on local races, particularly governors and state legislatures. They are definitely grooming for the future. The commies are looking at the long term so the patriots among us need to be sure we are staying on the offense and in the fight.

So the next two years will be hearings and investigations out the wazoo. The good news is that nobody but the hardcore commie base of the Dems will care. The other good news is that with the Senate and White House in GOP hands, the old bat Pelosi can't pass any legislation. Her majority will be pretty thin, so she will have to hold her caucus together pretty tightly to prevent the GOP from passing some of Trump's agenda.

Fox is calling FL for Scott. CNN isn't yet.

Anyone know what's happening in NV. Nothing reported in yet, even though their polls closed a while ago.

Polls are closed, but people are still in line to vote, and state law says no results can be released until all votes are cast.
