Thanks for this very generous karma, and to all of those who have helped so far. While not much, my wife and I were able to make a contribution to aid those affected by this disaster.

The Human Fund is definitely worth looking into.

It's my go to charity organization and I donate to them frequently because I know that the money will be spent wisely.

I made a donation through Faxon Barrels, they say 100% of the donations go to the relief effort.

I encourage anyone that wants to to do so. Faxon makes a great barrel and I believe that they are trustworthy.

So and my name to the hat!

Wow thanks for the generous karma. Please count me in for my donations. If I can get in on leading a team down there for work I'll be doing that as well.

We donated to the Samaritan's Purse Hurricane relief fund.

If I am chosen please auction off the rifle, and let the proceeds go to fund more relief.

So cool man.
Me and the three girls, wife and two daughters, pulled together a lemonade stand. It was a project both of them wanted to do all summer, and we kept putting it off for one reason or another. Camps, play dates,work...beach day. But finlly we put it together. And then Harvey hit.

So to impress upon the kids about being entrepreneurial, the concept of doing business, and giving back to the community, we made it a benefit Lemonade stand. We posted a sign below the regular ad for cheap lemonade and popcicles, "to benefit TEXAS" in big kid letters.

They crushed it. We had a few couple give us $5,$10,$20 bucks and walk away saying thank you....!
In two hours on the bike path near the upscale Davis square Somerville, the girls did $129.75.

So, as a further lesson in profit and loss we worked on the basic math, paid them out for thier time, covered costs and sent the reminder, $80.00, to a animal action outfit based in Houston to help out.

We where so happy for the kids making the choices and final calls on how to handle the money.

Anyway, that's our story. Mass AG won't allow more black rifles in to our commonwealth, I just wanted to share our story to you guys and gals knowing you would appreciate it.

Cheers and speedy recovery Houston

Q: Thanks again for another outrageously generous Karma. If it qualifies I would like to enter. I just ushered off a 26 year old nephew on his way to Houston to help out some how in the relief effort. He is from Erie, PA and stopped on his way down for a couple of nights to rest up. I bank rolled his gas money to get down there and we added blankets, sheets and personal items to his loaded down car. He'll be staying with my wife's sister in Magnolia while trying to figure out which church or organization to volunteer for.

Thanks again for the opportunity.

Back in my hometown from Austin, TX. The temporary Red Cross distribution center I was working in got shut down and one of my artificial knees was beginning to give problems from the 16 hour days we were working. Nurse told me I am out for a while. There is a much larger warehouse coming on board which will be able to better supply the 10,000 person mega shelters that will be in Austin and San Antonio. It can much better deal with the donations coming in and also the contracted supplies. Most of the smaller shelters will be shutting down soon to ease materiel logistics and cut down on trucking. When I left Austin there was little to no gasoline available so the reduced use of trucks will be a big issue.
As an aside, I overheard someone at the airport saying he had to pay $100 to get a ride from his hotel to catch his flight.

And thank you for the chance at the LMT. I sincerely wish the good karma is returned to you many fold.

You are truly a generous person. Thank you.

Wife and I donated $100 to the Houston Humane Society. They are completely helpless.
