I'll admit it.

I eat scrapple, deep fried chicken livers, and grits.

I've been fortunate to try a lot of different foods, but the only one I get a couple of times a year is corned beef hash fried crispy with ketchup on top.
Best in the morning with a couple cold beers!

Several others have mentioned it, but kishka. Blood sausage of the Polish variety.

I love snails, but only drenched in garlic butter.

Tripe is just plain sickening, but I do like menudo...just remove the tripe first.

Sushi? No...my fish needs to be cooked.

I've had chocolate covered grasshoppers and ants once. Not bad.

I'm a big fan of fat, particularly pork fat. My favorite part of the pork chop is the fat. In fact, you could throw away everything but the fat and the bone and I'd be happy.

I ate horse in Iceland. But not shark, or whale.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Was in Germany @ 40 years back and walked into a deli where there was row after row of raw hamburger on buns (brotchens) left out under plexiglass with no refrigeration. I didn't think it was fresh enough and didn't buy any, but thought "ahhh hah, I'm not alone". Later in the day wandered into the same place and noted that @ 25 % was still for sale, now looking gelatinous in non- AC room in the 90 degree weather.

I think you are referring to" Hacke Peter" or "Mett" and it is usually seasoned raw pork with onions, Love it, one of the first things I get in Germany.

I once ate Rattlesnake and it wasn't bad. One thing I won't eat is when we go out to eat with my wifes brothers and sister's and they take us to a fancy place and recommend some dish and say it takes an (acquired taste), no way.

When anchored in a harbor in the Bahamas I went over to ocean side and picked snails off the rocks, took them to a friends boat and cooked them with garlic in EVOO.

What what a treat, fresh escargot and french bread. Still love them today, but they are never as fresh as the ones we had that evening. Of course we were a bit hammered that evening, but what the hell, they were great!

I like to dip plain potato chips (e.g. Lays) in Ketchup. The various places I've lived in the US, people thought I was weird then I moved to Canada where they have ketchup flavored potato chips.

Perhaps, I'm not weird but instead I have a more international palate?
