Yesavage was definitely great.
The two homers on the first three pitches had me yelling for my wife to get out here, you gotta see this!
This Toronto team kicked my Mariners butts and I had a feeling they’d have something for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers were pretty inept last night. Particularly troubling was the Barger run. Snell walks Barger (maybe it was one of the relievers) and he comes all the way home on a combination of walks and wild pitches—it was like watching Little League.

$400m just doesn’t go as far as it used to. Here’s hoping we get to game 7!

I can't believe the guy started the year pitching for a single A team and has now has won a WS game.

It is two approaches being played out on the big stage.

Dodgers = big ball, take the pitcher deep into the count. Dave even said it the other night "we need to get him off the mound with the pitch count" but that combined with all the 'big swings' is not working.

blue Jays = small ball, strike fast and put the ball in play. Swing early, get base runners.

Now I felt the Dodgers did get into "put the ball in play" with the phillies, but now they all seem to be trying to just go yard.

It isn't working for them.

Barger had a great game last night in the field and on the bases. And if the Jays don't implode at home, Yesavage is MVP.

I don't watch MLB much but I have to say I've never before seen a game turn on a line drive getting wedged into the base of the back wall where it landed.

Besides, the A's are moving to Las Vegas, so, not a Pacific Northwest team anyway.

That was absolute chicken shit from Wrobleski. What an asshole. Then you have Joe Davis saying there was no intent. Oh bullshit. And he had the balls to mouth off to Gimemez. Too bad a pussy like him doesn’t have to get in the batters box anymore. That crap used to sort itself out.

^^ Don’t be so sure about that…Take a good look at the replay of that pitch and the spin on the ball. Looks to me like a breaking ball w/ NO break to it. He likely wanted it to start out up & in, but he likely overthrew it, as he did a couple of previous pitches.

I rewatched it. I’m calling dirty. And as I’m typing this, Kirk gets nailed in the hand. It didn’t look intentional this time. But I heard it put perfectly by a manager years ago. If you can’t control your pitches, stop throwing inside to my players.

Congrats to the Dodgers! They were just a little bit better than the Blue Jays. I’m a Dodgers fan but they waste too many at bats swinging for the fence.
