Dodgers are definitely going to be tough for the Phillies to beat, already getting vibes that they are the darlings of MLB and favored to win no matter what like the Chiefs were for a good number of years.

Phils simply cannot hit off Shohei Ohtani and they know that which is why he's starting pitcher in Game 1.

I was about to brag and post about the Cubs Michael Busch launching a home run to start the game, and before I could grab my phone, the Brewers answered with 6 runs in the 1st.

6!

Somebody drug test the Brewers. The entire team. Right now!
What the hell is going on?

Turns out the rookie winning pitcher on the Blue Jays at yesterday's game mowing the Yankees down is from my town and an alum of our very good baseball program here (Boyertown, PA Baseball) that has sent a few players to the Big Leagues over the years.

We have been considering sending our son age 10 to this league to try it out as it feels like he's outgrowing the current rec league we are in but it's VERY competitive and no joke:

I thought after Nick Castellanos’ double the Phillies were going to win that one.

Bottom line, these multi-millionaire players really don't give a rats ass at the end of the day, they are getting paid no matter what. It's so shameful. Roll Eyes

I'm going back to when I really didn't give a shit about any sports team, it's just easier that way.

Boo hiss! Haha just kidding but I still root for the Dodgers and have taken my kids to some games. We will be rooting for a Dodger run again, if we can catch games on TV Roll Eyes

Sorry, PASig. The Phils could've won that game...

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

What a game, excellent pitching all night. Somebody had to come out on top. I watched through 10 then went to bed. Got update on pee trip. The Bluejays look good, looking forward to that series next.

Go Mariner's!. I did not think they would come out on top. Watched it all. Both teams had multiple chances to win it. Both laid it all on the line and gutted it out.
Will be a tall mountain to climb on short rest after a marathon like that. Too bad they just don't start it like Mon. or Tues.
But they have a chance and that is all you can ask. They have grinded the season out. Go M's.

I wanted to relive the 80s so I was rooting for the Tigers to win so there would be a Tigers and Blue Jays match-up.
