I wonder why they didn't send an uncover to him with some "photographic evidence" of a murder to collect the $500.

I suspect it would have been a lot easier to get a conviction that way, and probably for some more severe charges.

My thought as well...

Yeah, I've been waiting for the 'sovereign citizen' analogy to show up. These two could be charter members.

Y’all know we are having an increase of violence against law enforcement ranging from dumping water over them to outright murder Mad...ICE is under attack from the left for upholding the law. It doesn’t take a stretch of imagination for this cock sucker (I use this term literally) is adding fuel to the fire with his $500 bounty offer to kill an ICE agent (the “Squad” more than likely supports this). First I am surprised with his being acquitted...but I’m also surprised that any members of this Forum have posted what I (and others here) consider “support” for his words Confused

Well fuck me running...sadly I digress...God bless this officer and his family as they deal with tragedy...we are in a war in this nation Frown

Well, you can't swing a dead cat in this country without hitting someone filled with anger, like FenderBender, or someone who's both stupid and obstinate, like Longbow. I don't think that they're sovereign citizens. I think they're just as I've described in this post. Just that.

But, in terms of this forum, they've both committed suicide. Put them on your ignore list? No, quite the opposite. If either of them ever has the audacity to post again in this forum, I'll get immediate email notification of it.

Perhaps I'll put a link to this thread in their signature, then remove their abilty to edit their posts or modify their signature. So, everytime they post, there will be a link to this thread at the bottom of their post, which they could not remove. I mean, they're both proud of the things they've said in this thread, so that wouldn't be a problem, would it?

Oh, I almost forgot- umm- "lol"

Get a clue. Yelling "Fire" in a movie theater isn't protected free speech, nor should an advertised bounty on someone's head.

You might want to look into that a bit. I believe SCOTUS over turned the conviction (ie, it is allowed). Wink

Did SCOTUS not say that it was illegal unless there was really a fire?

In my years on this forum, I have seen Para get quite irritated, quite a few times. Rightfully so. I’ve made more than one stupid post that I received a swift kick in the ass for, well deserved.
That said, in almost ten years here, I do not believe I have even seen Para this disappointed or disgusted with a member. LB and FB achieved something I have never heard of. Disdain so deep that banishment was ruled out so the community can scathe them anytime they are foolish enough to post.

If I don’t think I have anything substantial to add to discussion, I usually don’t try. Here it’s all been said, all I can say it is way past abhorrent to wish death on a LEO or anyone else as a statement or affirmation of their political viewpoint. And I’ll be exploring the technical features that maybe offered by this forum for blocking/ignoring/muting certain parties.

No need to thank us, ever. I think I can speak for nearly everyone here sans the two twits, in that we support anyone putting their lives on the line for others. Paramedics, Fireman, LE, MIL, name it. And you have a LOT of law enforcement on here, and current and ex military.

And to the two twits, what the fuck? On a gun forum you post that shit? Are you crazy? You know people here know people in law enforcement right? Are you asking for a door knock? Wow. Now I see why there are so many pages in this thread. Do you clowns realize those agents are just trying to work a job and put food on the table? Vote and heckle your elected leaders. Contact your Congressman and Senators. Don’t come here with that bullshit. There are a lot of people I don’t like but I’m certainly not going to wish death upon them. You owe it to yourself, your family, the forum, and the owner of the forum to get back on here and apologize for what you have done. If not you’re cowards. Just admit you made some serious mistakes, and apologize for them. If not then don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Unbelievable.

I will say this about receiving threats during my time as an LEO:
There were many times someone I contacted or arrested made threats to me. Often they were non-specific, such as "you will be sorry". Or "I will get you for this" And the time honored (and my personal favorite) "I will catch you out off duty and kick your ass".
All these are easily dismissed as what they are: Bullshit.

Yeah this happens quite a bit. 99% of the time, it is bullshit. I've only been in the field for 22 years and have been threatened with these numerous times and have always just ignored it. The most semi-serious one was last year after a 4+ year long lawsuit (mother and wife of dead guy was suing me and the city for wrongful death). After they lost and were told to go pound sand since they weren't getting a dime, they said I better watch my back. I thought about it, looked at them and said "Bring it".

Most people know better than to outright threaten someone. They're just huffing their chest.

I am not nor ever have been a LEO. What I am is the son of a LEO. I grew up in a squad car. A squad car sometimes carried me and my siblings to school. I did ride alongs. Worked as a civilian employee at KCPD while in high school. LEO's along with my father gave me my first pistol lessons. Met MANY fine officers, local, state and federal while on the east coast. Met a few assholes also, but so what?

What you two fuckers have said sickens me. And I'm a old, scared up retired civilian. Even if I was not as involved with LE as I have been, I would still be disgusted at what you two asswipes have said. Post ANYTHING again. I fucking dare you.

I'm guessing that your guess is correct.

FenderBender will figure it out, but Longbow strikes me as being genuinely stupid, so, I wouldn't put it past him.

You have the Right to say anything you like, as king as you are willing to face the music for saying it.

I'm trying to understand your logic.

Does what you think about the First Amendment's protecting our freedom of speech and associated facing consequences extend to breaking any law? In other words, are you saying, since we're in a free country, we can do whatever we want, and if we want to break a law, we can, with the understanding that the consequence may be getting sentenced to jail? Do you not agree with our system of checks and balances that allows the Supreme Court to interpret the Constitution? Do you acknowledge that the Supreme Court has defined restrictions on speech, and yes, on the Second Amendment as well?
