FWIW, I have it on good authority that 900 5.56 rounds fit in a 30 cal ammo can if they are layered in rows, alternating direction.

I just got in on the returned Golden Tiger .223 with the hard primers from SG Ammo. Yes, you'll need an enhanced firing pin and possibly a stronger hammer spring, but at 17¢ a round those modifications are worthwhile.

I just got some 45acp in today to break in a pistol caliber carbine. I can't hardly wait to get to the range!

I'm in the process of moving right now. Just around the corner, but still. Have to drag it up and down basement stairs.

I feel your pain. I moved from a 3rd story apartment--where I stayed for three years accumulating ammunition--into a house just down the street. That was painful even with a handtruck. I spread it out over three days to avoid any injuries. Luckily--crossed my fingers--I'm in my beautiful forever home.

SG Ammo sent me a note. Another 2k rounds of various calibers inbound. I will use up about 100 rounds of 7.62 NATO this weekend so all is well with the world!

I have been able to resist SGAmmo, Palmetto & Targetsports so far. But I notice I am looking more and more. I have plenty of ammo, but damn I keep looking and wanting to buy. I get the whole hoarding thing now. Used to be like damn, now I am like damn, ohhh.

some of these black friday prices look pretty tempting. SG Ammo moreso than PSA but that's not too unusual.

I also got that SGA email this morning!

That's their regular price for that particular type packaging. The cartridges are stacked touching one inside each box of 20, kind of like IMI does.
It's a good price and space saver.

I am half tempted to buy a case but I ended up getting it from Target Sports USA a couple of weeks ago.

I've been looking at SGammo's web site. Need some 30 carbine ammo. Is there a brand I should stay away from. Has anyone had a bad experience with a brand not cycling in military carbines?

I picked up a case of UMC due to the $5 per box rebate today. (Mentioned in another Black Friday thread.)

Hard to turn down a case of 9mm for $113 after rebate. I just hope my rebate form doesn't get lost in the mail.
