I was pulling into my garage the same time the UPS guy was making a delivery. I was glad --in a way-- the box he brought me wasn't ammo.

I may have to replace some of my 7.62 nato and .30-06. I have a bunch of corrosive Taiwanese .30-06 taking up space. Probably not worth shooting in a decent M1.

I also have a bunch of 7.62x51 bought from Century Arms in 1989. The only marking on the case is 7.62mm and it has an orange/red primer seal. No other markings. I haven't been able to find any information on it.

Probably better to be safe than sorry and use this as a rationale to further my addiction by replacing this old stuff with fresh ammo.

Not to drift off topic but I actually had a Soldier who thought islands just floated in the middle of the ocean. When told if that were true they would just float away to who knows where, he kind of got that on his face.

How does anyone not know that an island is the top of a mountain or other rising mass is beyond me.
