I've got small quantities of a variety of alleged "mouse fart" .223/5.56 for testing, and a couple hundred rounds of .380 ACP range ammo arriving, today. Now I'm definitely done. More than done. I'm in debt to "the house," having borrowed to stock up while I could.

I'd like to have more 5.56 and 9mm, to be sure, but, well...

ETA: I'll tell you this: With funds so tight, it was a damn difficult decision to pay $30 for ammo that I would otherwise never have bought, but, I need to know the operational limits of the EBR I built.

975 rounds of .22 followed me home from town today. Sporting goods store had lots of ammo in stock but their 5.56 has taken a BIG jump in price but I almost always buy online/bulk anyway and the .22 wasn't a bad price.

I went in to pick up my free resident landowner deer tags and just couldn't leave without something Smile

Well crap.

Big Brown shows my 7.62X51 out for delivery.
FedEx changed the delivery date for my 5.56 until tomorrow.
ARGH!

I've been reading a lot about the IMI Razor Core rounds SG has in stock right now. Apparently it's the Israeli MK262. Looking at what it does to pigs I'd say it's a heck of a round. Guess I need some.

Loving it.

Big Brown brought me a 50cal ammo can of 500rds PPU M80 today.
Nice can and it was still sealed by a cable from the factory.

Yes, I cut it off cuz I had to check inside.

Big Brown coming tomorrow.

Couple more orders, and I will be done with my pre-election shopping spree these last couple of months.

Anybody wanna guess what 145 rounds of assorted 300BLK hunting ammo runs?

You don't want to know.

Is it just me or is privi M193 getting hard to find?

Yes, the supply of PPU M193 appears to be drying up.
A case of it arrived FedEx at my door this morning.

You can still order it here:

Target Sports USA is a little slow, but it did arrive.
It came out of Connecticut or something.

For whatever reason, you have to order by the box, but at the price per box, it still comes in for the amount a case does elsewhere, or pretty close.

It comes 20rds/box. I just finished up redoing all the boxes. I pull out the innards and stack 30rds/box. It helps with space requirements.

I've been alternating between Target Sports and SGammo, one is cheaper than the other here and there. I've been very pleased with both. I just got a misc. order in from Target Sports today. I had found on their website "used P226 .40/.357" mags $9.99 each. I ordered some, before I could post about them, they were gone. They arrived today with my order, all SIG OEM 12rd, mix between MecGar and "Made in USA." I regret not ordering more.

Thanks Claire Smile I think you need an improved cut. It should be "enabler in chief" J/K.

Seriously, thank you LBJ for all of your advice of late. I did not know much about ARs until you schooled me. Never knew what "twist rate" meant. I realize that makes me a relative idiot around here. I knew a fair bit about pistols and shotguns, but next to nothing about ARs. Now, I have completed my pre-election shopping, thanks to you and Para's thread. Burrrpp.

I panicked this morning before work.

Twenty-twos and 00 buckshot.

Does the Betty Ford Clinic have help for us?

It might, but the treatment will cost you more than 10 ARs, and 50,000 rounds of stashed ammo.

You decide Smile

Thanks and all but I am no expert.
I like basic AR15s, 16in, M4 handguards, sling, iron battle sights/carry handle, and A2 buttstock.

Now that I am retired, I have nothing better to do than do a few improvements.
I have a Colt M4 extractor spring and a chrome silicon buffer spring on the way.
I already replaced my bolt carrier with a shrouded chrome one from RRA, which replaced the half moon Colt carrier.

Yeah, I don't have any of these. Which weight are you looking at?
There's a 77gr and 69gr.
They are pricey.
