Some additional details in an article today.

quote:
When FBI agents went to arrest Maxwell at a mansion in New Hampshire on July 3, instead of obeying the agent's order to open the door, Maxwell fled to another room and closed the door behind her, according to the court filing. After the FBI breached the door they found Maxwell inside and arrested her.

"As the agents conducted a security sweep of the house, they also noticed a cell phone wrapped in tin foil on top of a desk, a seemingly misguided effort to evade detection, not by the press or public, which of course would have no ability to trace her phone or intercept her communications, but by law enforcement," prosecutors wrote.

quote:
Maxwell's brother hired former members of the British military to guard his sister at the New Hampshire property, prosecutors said. Maxwell provided one of the guards with a credit card, in the name of the limited liability company used to purchase the $1 million property in an all-cash deal, to make purchases on her behalf, according to prosecutors.

"As these facts make plain, there should be no question that the defendant is skilled at living in hiding," prosecutors wrote.

Prosecutors also challenged Maxwell's bail proposal to have six individuals co-sign a $5 million bond, which would be secured in part by a $3.75 million property in the United Kingdom. She also said she would surrender her passports and limit travel to the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

The government said Maxwell did not identify the individuals who would sign her bail by name and said they have no ability to seize property in another country. They also said that France, where Maxwell has citizenship, does not extradite its citizens.

Prosecutors also cited Maxwell's own wealth as a means for her to flee the country. Maxwell disclosed to the US Treasury Department that in 2018 and 2019 she held at times $2 million at an English bank and had a $4 million balance at a Swiss bank. But prosecutors say Maxwell's finances are "opaque," noting she has not filled out a sworn statement describing her assets.

"Given the gravity of the charged crimes, the defendant's substantial resources, her willingness to evade detection, and her lies under oath, the Court should take the proposed bail package for what it is worth: nothing," prosecutors wrote.

I'm gratified that they Roger_Stoned her ass.
But, not the details I wanted.

Which shotgun? What kind of sabre-toothed door-breaching muzzle device?

What kind of 3 1/2" Magnum sintered strontium breaching load?

And flash-bangs? Surely they pitched in a couple or six flash-bangs?

Smoke? No Smoke? Maybe not called for in this case, but multi-colored smoke grenades would have been awesomely epic.

Oh, and was CNN late to the party, or just not invited?

So she can have British ex-military guards, but she's too stupid to understand a burner phone?

Even I know you need a Faraday Cage to prevent a phone from being tracked!

I'd be concerned they will find her dangling from the floor.

If she's not a flight risk, no one is.

Yeah, she's a real 'operator/shadow agent.' The old 'wrap your personal cell phone in tin foil' trick is used by all special operatives.

Not that I'm complaining - they need to lock her up like Hanibal Lector (including strapping her to a gurney and displaying her in a lion cage for all to see, just to ensure nothing happens to her before she can testify. . .

Television and film have given people (myself included) unreal expectations regarding prisoner transport and storage... for high profile persons, I mean. From Hannibal to ConAir to Magneto's prisons to elaborate renditions, I expect more somehow.

For instance, I can dream up all manner of ways to ensure she's not alone, unwatched, or in any way able to injure herself, given enough people, and FFS we can throw 100 bodies (resources) at most any damn thi ng, at will, almost anywhere in the world, I mean really... we have *extraordinary* resources at our disposal, as a country and set of institutions.

So I sort of expect more actual padded cages in the middle of big rooms, with dozens of highspeed guards surrounding everything 24/7, MFers on adjacent roofs, some extra Command Center in a trailer nearby, wall to wall computers, cameras every fucking where, and then more of them in case those go out, a dedicated Reaper intel drone overhead... again, there's what... maybe one such event/person every 2yrs?

It's not like we *can't*. We mjght even be doing half that now. But it always seems not enough.

I blame Television and the Movies.

A New York judge on Tuesday denied bail to former Jeffrey Epstein girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who was arrested earlier this month on federal sex charges related to minors.

Maxwell pleaded not guilty to the charges. Her trial is set for July 2021.

Maxwell's attorneys had requested that their client be released on a $5 million bail, arguing that being behind bars puts her at risk for contracting the coronavirus.

The lead prosecutor is Alison Moe, of the Southern District of New York. Moe works in the Public Corruption unit.

Moe zeroed in on Maxwell's purported lack of financial transparency. She said when Maxwell was questioned about her money she snapped that she "could not remember from the top of her head how many millions of dollars she has."

An alias she was using to buy the house was a female character from the TV series Pretty Little Liars.

I have never seen this series, but an article said the Real Estate agent smelled the b.s. and called the FBI.

This broad deserves whatever hell the feds can dream up and then some.

Facilitating and recruiting underage girls for a grown man to fuck with is just as bad as actually messing with them, which she apparently did on occasion.

Make her talk by whatever means necessary and then send her to a men's prison in Brazil or some shit where she can get raped daily for the rest of her miserable life.

None of us are privy to the negotiations going on behind the scenes. Perhaps a deal will be negotiated for her cooperation.
But it would have been better for her if Epstein were still alive because she wouldn't be the focus and she would have more leverage with prosecutors.

Federal prosecutors revealed during Tuesday’s bail hearing for accused Jeffrey Epstein enabler and sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell that Maxwell is married. It is unclear from the record to whom Maxwell is married or for how long she has been married. Though the law does contain protections which allow spouses to refuse to testify against one another, those protections are not absolute. That sets up a tantalizing possibility: assuming the spouse knows something relevant, they could wind up being forced to testify against Ghislaine Maxwell — if certain exceptions apply.

The existence of the spouse became public with this statement: “the defendant also makes no mention whatsoever about the financial circumstances or assets of her spouse — whose identity she declined to provide to Pretrial Services.”

According to international media reports, a man dressed as a FedX driver opened fire at Salas' husband Mark, immediately after he answered the door. Following which, their son Daniel came running to the door and was also shot at. International media reported that Salas was supposedly in the basement when the gruesome incident happened.

Link to the shooting at judge's house:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/ne...ed-FedEx-driver.html

https://www.republicworld.com/...ised-men-attack.html

They answered the door, husband shot. Son came to his aid, he was shot and killed. The judge herself, Esther Salas, was in the basement. No one knows if this is related to Maxwell, but this happened 4 days after she was assigned the case.

Perhaps someone is getting very desperate, would make a great novel or movie if true or not.
