If 20 members went to your place I bet there'd be a lot fewer hogs when they leave.

Right now focusing on removing as many as possible with trapping them in groups. Then maybe we go to guns

They are very good eating! I've shot a couple in NC and it's like the best free-range pork you ever had.

I'm eager to give hog hunting a try. If I ever get my SCAR-17...

Oh, by the way, which one's "Pink?"

I have an uncle who lives in TX and he hunts hogs regularly. He says wild hogs make for some of the best breakfast sausage you've ever tasted. With a little luck, next fall, I'll be able to provide a range report.

Javelinas are a different species than pigs, which likely explains the difference in yumminess

I've heard they're pretty awful to clean & not worth the effort.

Javelina have a bag limit too, don't recall the number though.

Had nearly a dozen loitering about 40yds out on our last deer hunt.

I'd be up for the E TX / W LA SF hog hunt, though. If someone has the land & hog problem.

Edit: Javelina limit is 2 per season, possession limit of 2.
