God willing. I'm done.

I posted some time back about whether or not it is time to suspend Posse Comitatus. I believed then, and believe now that it is time to do just that.

I want my country back.

I want a place where we can walk around our neighborhoods without feeling the need to carry a weapon. I want to be able to kick my children/grandchildren out of the house at 8AM, telling them to be back by dinner..and not worrying about a single thing beyond a skinned knee that we can pour some merthiolate on and everything will be fine. I want the country that I, and many others here, grew up in back. I demand it back.

If that takes deploying our military to take it back? Sign me up. That is precisely we have them.

I'm done.

This can be done and it should be done.

You bring up great points. And that’s precisely why I brought up CAG. Thugs are used to XYZ. They aren’t used to a unit that has no tactical equal on this continent. And maybe 1 or 2 on the globe. I say maybe because the R&D machine at Bragg has outgrown the one at 22 SAS. And if you look at the relevant growth of SAS back in the day, the were running counter terrorism inside and along their borders. While the rest of the SOF community didn’t have wars going on. It’s all about reps and they were getting the work in against the IRA. Maybe CAG could do the same things against the foreign and domestic gangs here.

It would be a damned interesting few days to say the least.

If I recall correctly, SAS was within sight of the eradication of the IRA when news of the operation was leaked to the British press. Thatcher then pulled the plug. I dont know how or if that type of operation would work in our major cities.

It would be really interesting (and really quick) if they had good ROE.

Why the big thing with the NG?

Why not send all the federal LEO agencies (FBI, DOJ, ICE, Marshal, IRS) and the other I do not know.

They are the LEO force Obama creased for this reason.

The NG can saturate the city with bodies, an authority presence and deterrence. It would be a waste of resources to have special agents standing in groups of 5 or 6, as a police presence. And the lack of standard uniforms.

I also like the NG as they are citizen soldiers who are part of the communities that they serve.

They need to flood these cities with prosecutors and kick all gun crimes up to federal. The cops know who and where the bad guys are. The problem is they're not getting locked up until they're too old to gang bang anymore.

I do wonder if the threat environment will be more extreme for our soldiers in larger leftist havens like Chicago and Seattle. I expect organized antifa/trans extremist violent opposition. These groups don't exactly boast the most physically fit or military-trained people in their ranks but given enough time I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing of IEDs or convoy ambushes. A lot of this will be avoided with decapitation strikes or arrests of their leadership prior to sending the national guard in but the situation will still be very tense for our troops.

The problem is the government in those cities will support and incite the violence against troops. I do not think this is the answer. But could be the only option. I dunno.

No thank you.
I’m quite content that it doesn’t need to happen. There’s a reason it got enacted in the first place.

You want this? "the government in those cities will support and incite the violence against troops". That's how you get to this...

The governments in many states and cities are pushing further towards such a possibility. We need to figure out which color wire(s) to cut, and soon. Tick-Tock.

Tennessee is has a Republican governor who I'm sure is OK with National Guard in Memphis.

The city cannot legally overrule the state government no matter what they think.

I love that the Democrats are fighting to keep their prestigious soaring crime rates in place!

I hope our warriors have airtight evidence before they make a strike like that, because 20+ years down the line, a Dem will get into power, and all our people taking risks to protect our kids will be charged with murder. That and the Dem will be ordering a strike on a day-fisher flying a MAGA flag.

This is another good reason to get out the vote, and ensure no voting shenanigans. We must increase the Congressional advantage, protect the MAGA gains, and elect another MAGA President.

^ These decisions aren't made in a vacuum. Furthermore, that's a gigantic leap in the decision making process.

The cartels have been classified as terrorist orgs and there are decades of precedence for how America deals with terrorists.

Enough is enough, America voted for not tolerating evil anymore.

Just curious....Are blowed up drugs harmful to fish?

And does it appear to you the boat is not moving at the time?

And I'd think a boom like that would bust the hull to smithereens.
