1. Absence of fishing gear

We were using that test in the 90s and it was 100% spot on.

Georgia Supreme Court rejects Fani Willis' bid to prosecute Trump

https://justthenews.com/govern..._campaign=newsletter

The Georgia Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' (D) bid to prosecute President Trump over the 2020 presidential election.

The court's 4-3 decision upholds a lower court ruling disqualifying Willis over a “significant appearance of impropriety” because of her romantic relationship with a top prosecutor in the case, The Hill news outlet reported.

Willis had attempted to prosecute Trump and his allies in the state on racketeering charges for allegedly attempting to overthrow the 2020 election.

While the Georgia’s Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council could appoint a new prosecutor to take the case, that could be a months-long process, leaving the case in limbo.

Trump’s lead attorney in Georgia, Steve Sadow, said in a statement that the state’s high court had “correctly denied review.”

“Willis’ misconduct during the investigation and prosecution of President Trump was egregious and she deserved nothing less than disqualification. This proper decision should bring an end to the wrongful political, lawfare persecutions of the President,” Sadow said.

Willis’s office had not yet responded to The Hill's request for comment.

A 4-3 decision? Glad for the victory, but should’ve been a bigger margin.

Serious about crackers.

When I fire up my magic box that opens a window into the world, I have multiple news feeds. Nearly every "mainstream" media outlet has a story bashing Trump. No matter what his actions may be, there is some type of criticism of it. And his detractors? Front and center, in full voice. I am sick of the never ending anti Trump coverage! Mad

Trump stands in the way of the marxism the media wants, and he is defunding their money laundering schemes that are paying for it.

Problem is "The Elites" want Marxism too. The kind where they stay rich and in control and everyone else is a worker bee and lacks the resources to do anything to challenge "The Elite".

What's left of all the "get Trump" charges?

- Appeals court held up the defamation verdict against the crazy bitch. SCOTUS could still set it aside, which I think they can do because the bill to change the statute of limitations was ONLY used against Trump, making it a Bill of Attainder.

- NY Appellate Court set aside the penalty in the real estate loan case, but didn't set aside the verdict. NY Court of Appeals (their weird name for state Supreme Court) or SCOTUS could still set aside the verdict.

- Felonies for hush money will not have a sentence, currently in Federal Appeals Court due to some law that allows Federal officers to move state cases to Federal Court.

I think he will prevail in most of the cases.

Dumb of her to basically repeat a leftist agenda point, conservatives have frowned upon the phrase "hate speech" for years.

It has become pretty clear that she's not that bright. Most people get to where they are with smarts and talent. She got where she is by her looks.

If she were 300 pounds with buck teeth and cat-eye glasses, there's not a chance in hell that FNC (or any other outlet) would have ever put her on the air, which launched her career.

DOJ Barbie. I don't guess that she makes it much longer. Yeah, Trump says he has full confidence...yada yada yada. What else is he going to say? "She sucks and I fucked up"? Nope.

Patel and Bongino know it. They threatened to quit. They're working around it.

Stick a fork in her.

I'm really hoping he calls Matt Whitaker back and puts him where he belongs.

2 million illegals out of the U.S. since Trump took office, DHS confirms

https://justthenews.com/politi..._campaign=newsletter

President Donald Trump is well on his way to removing the multitude of illegal aliens in the United States, with the total dropping by 2 million since he took office.

Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin confirmed to Just the News that federal agencies had directly deported 400,000 illegal aliens since Trump returned to the White House. Additionally, 1.6 million illegal aliens self-deported in that same time frame.

"We're looking about 2 million total in the past 240 days. That includes 1.6 million self deportations, which we are very much encouraging illegal aliens to take," she said. "It's a lot safer for the aliens themselves, for the public, for our law enforcement, and also it's a lot better financially, a lot more tax savings for the US taxpayer. And then in addition to that, there's been about 400,000 deportations themselves, so totally, about 2 million, but we're going to get those numbers up."

McLaughlin made the remarks in an interview with this reporter to be aired this week on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast. Her update appears to corroborate earlier reporting of 350,000 deportations by late August and analysis from the Center for Immigration Status, which found 1.6 million illegals had left voluntarily. McLaughlin confirmed that DHS figures independently corroborated the CIS estimate.

Trump has previously stated that there are between 20 and 22 million illegal aliens in the country, meaning his administration has completed roughly 10% of the job, thus far.

Notably, the 2 million figure largely stems from DHS operating under a budget from the Biden Administration and does not reflect the expansion of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) resources from the One Big, Beautiful Bill.

McLaughlin further expressed optimism that DHS would be able to meet the Trump administration's target by the end of his term, through a combination of direct deportations and self-deportations. DHS expects the pace of self-deportations to vary widely, but is confident that direct deportations will dramatically expand.

Pictures: President Trump Welcomed to Windsor by King Charles III For Historic State Visit

Very good video of the procession in this article.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at Windsor Park aboard Marine One on Wednesday afternoon, where they were greeted by the King and Queen before climbing aboard a line of horse-drawn Royal coaches for the ride to the historic castle.

Donald Trump grinned broadly as he was greeted by William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales at the steps of Marine One after it touched down in the walled garden at Frogmore on Wednesday. Minutes later, President Trump and First Lady Melania were met by the King and Queen, for the first formalities of this week’s State Visit to the United Kingdom.

Already unprecedented in being the second State Visit for a foreign head of state to Britain, today’s events feature a number of other unusual events including the carriage drive through Windsor Park to the 1,000-year-old Windsor Castle. It is the first time a U.S. President has been in a Royal Coach in many years, given for security reasons they normally only ever travel in ‘The Beast’ armoured Presidential Limousine, or heavily-protected aircraft.

Also unusual is the scope of the visit. President Trump and his Wife Melania are not the only ones to get the Royal treatment, but several senior members of Trump’s government have been included too, including Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent who were also conducted in Royal horse-drawn coaches behind the President and King, who rode together.

As the procession of carriages went through the Park they passed the Royal Band which played both The Star-Spangled Banner and God Save The King for the lead coach.

The carriages were driven into the courtyard of Windsor Castle where President Trump was invited to inspect the guard of honour, drawn up of ceremonially-uniformed troops of the Guards regiments. President Trump saluted from the dais besides King Charles III as the massed bands played, again, the U.S.-anthem.

I believe that William flew a medical evacuation helicopter in service for several years. He’d probably like to have a go at flying Marine One.

Watching that procession and all the tradition behind it....the precision and "nationalism", it's hard to believe that England is failing in immigration and apparently perfectly okay with it. At least the politicians. Such a shame.

Now back to Trump thread.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Pete Hegseth is suggesting or supporting the idea that women should loose their right to vote? I'm not trolling, just trying to get some ammo for my nightly point counterpoint with she who shall not be named.
