You are so, so right. Since Ronald Reagan it's been at worst, an unhidden attempt to change the entire structure of the country in values, belief, tolerance, fairness, good sense, to embarrassments we didn't want our children to hear about.

Corruption, lies, more lies, and I gotta say more lies, that tried men's souls.
Charitably, Trump broke even on his first tour around the casino/clown show/conspiracy center and the 4 year funny nose and glasses night that FJB delivered unto us.

They couldn't stop him, jail him, bankrupt him, intimidate him and trying to kill him hasn't worked and now, wooo babies! They, we and I have never seen anything like this and plopping him into the old leftover circus tents flapping around doesn't work.

They challenge him and he explains in three word sentences that they are very stupid. They try to talk over him and he shuts them up.

I live about 16 miles west of Seattle in an enclave of lefties. (I'll spare you my proof statements) They are going bat-shit, speaking in tongues, wondering how people can be so stupid and when they get hoarse they bitch about property taxes.

There is no reasoning, no persuading, no cajoling that's going to move my home grown commies or apparently those worshipping Gia and Greta in the rest of the country.

The best response is laugh out loud and never give up.

I have a friends who live on Bainbridge, and the general surrounding area, and the propaganda as completely overwhelmed their brain. They reinforce each other's stupidity, and have become incapable of rational discussion or thought.

I have often wondered how good German citizens believed the Nazi propaganda, and came home to fight for Germany. Seeing what the left has become shows how well propaganda works.

Stupid-Shit-Schumer fails to recognize that the War Powers Act only requires:

quote:
(a) Written report; time of submission; circumstances necessitating submission; information reported

In the absence of a declaration of war, in any case in which United States Armed Forces are introduced—
(1) into hostilities or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances;
(2) into the territory, airspace or waters of a foreign nation, while equipped for combat, except for deployments which relate solely to supply, replacement, repair, or training of such forces; or
(3) in numbers which substantially enlarge United States Armed Forces equipped for combat already located in a foreign nation;
the President shall submit within 48 hours to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and to the President pro tempore of the Senate a report, in writing, setting forth—
(A) the circumstances necessitating the introduction of United States Armed Forces;
(B) the constitutional and legislative authority under which such introduction took place; and
(C) the estimated scope and duration of the hostilities or involvement.

That's what's required.

The Pox on that moron.

Rule 1 from Politics 101: It is not desirable, much less necessary for politicians to know or even believe that their public statements are true, especially claims about opposition parties or individuals. No one expects their statements to be true, and they should be true only if it is a benefit to them personally. All they must do is recognize which statements appeal to their supporters—and whether the supporters know or believe them to be true either.

My Island Paradise. My state rep is a convicted felon who became a symbol, got her right to vote restored, ran for the state leg and won with overwhelming nods from sitting pols, has her gun rights restored, and is now hard over on gun control. Her crime> Armed robbery.

It's like a cartoon.

Hilton Hotels is fucking with Trump's DHS.

NO ROOM AT THE INN! @HiltonHotels has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement. When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?

Cancel the ability of any federal employee to stay at any Hilton Hotel, worldwide.

They are guaranteed a number of paid rooms, even it not used, as part of their contract rates with the USG.

That'll get their attention.

That is probably the local franchise owner, not Hilton Corporate. I would be shocked if Hilton felt this way, but the franchisees have a lot of leeway on their policies.

It will be interesting to see how this shapes up. In any case, I am a Hilton Honors Gold member, but I will staying in other hotels until I see how this is resolved.

I bet Hilton Worldwide’s CEO and chief legal counsel has passed a CINDERBLOCK each at the prospect of USG contract cancellations over this idiocy.

If it was one local operator, Hilton needs to revoke their license, forthwith like.

I am Diamond with Hilton and travel every week. I am going to call Hilton Honors and tell the to FO. My first call will be to Marriott for a status match. I bet they get a few of those calls this week.
