Here you go, it was on TV and the internet live, and there are many videos posted.

Woke up today..
Great day!

As far as I’m concerned, Trump laid out and explained his plans clearly while campaigning. Then he got elected based on those plans. Then he immediately went about executing his plan even with a completely destructive and activist left. He has explained everything they are doing sometimes several times a day. He routinely holds press conferences and answers tons of questions. Most of America is onboard with what he is doing. Democratic Party is at 20% approval and heading south while they scream about closing the boarder, they scream about deporting criminal illegals, they scream about men in women’s sports and bathrooms, they scream about taking away parental rights so they can brainwash and mutilate our children, and they scream about cutting any fraud and waste in government like you were euthanizing half the population.

I’m now in my sixties. I believe president Trump is the best damn politician we have had in my lifetime. That’s right, I said that. Most honest, most transparent, and most pro-American. If he doesn’t save this country then we are completely fucked.

Seems to me that the long-term attractiveness of most US companies just went up, at the same time as the prices of their stock were driven down by overreaction.

I think US companies will be in a significantly better position when the dust settles and the negotiated unwinding of mutually-destructive tariffs and unfair trade practices starts to level the playing fields.

It may take a while, but buying opportunities soon, I think, for folks with long-term planning horizons and/or sufficient diversification. Babies are being thrown out with the bathwater, and all that.

Only if you sold after the drop. I'm sure you're aware of "peaks" and "valleys" in investing, right?

People who are expecting Trump to cruise and change everything bad about the country in the first 100 days really need to learn patience. You don't have to step too far back to see that Trump has done more for this country in his 73 days than Biden in his 1460 days. And it is only going to get better.

It's now or never. Turn off the media, get on with your life and try to make an impact locally.

Donald Trump is the best thing to happen to America in my lifetime. He put his life on the line for us. A little patience and support isn't too much to ask after all his sacrifices for us.

As a member of the Senior Executive Service she has to accept the new post at IHS or must resign or be fired for cause.

She'll resign or retire rather than deal with the IHS.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

The DOW IS UP over 5% year over year.
And over 21% over two years.

Long term… time to buy?

My Three personal investment accounts are ranging 6% to 9% year over as of COB today.

Endeavor to persevere.

ABSOLUTLEY! If you didn't sell, you didn't lose dime.

Did you SELL everything, today?
If you did not, then you didn't actually lose anything.
Anyone in the market and I assume you have, must have experienced ups and downs?
It is not fun watching downs, I must agree but this is an infrastructure restructuring with experiencing the costs more up front.
We all need patience.
Peace, out.

I don't know why others are telling Jesse he didn't have a loss unless he sold as that is simply not true. He experienced an "unrealized loss", ask any CPA what that is if you don't believe me. The value of any investment account is as shown at the end of the day in their brokerage or other account. It is also what a bank would want to know if you were applying for a loan/mortgage or such.

I only say this as people need to be aware of risks of investing and plan accordingly with asset allocation that is inline with their goals, time frame, and risk for tolerance and also evaluate longer term performance of their assets when having concerns with short term performance.

I am very confident in what President Trump is doing and the need for it but we certainly will see more volatility in the mean time. The can has been kicked down the road for far too long, especially in regard to insane deficits and government spending/fraud/mismanagement. Wall street hates uncertainty.
