^^^Because he did nothing wrong.

Somehow Trump seems sharper than ever. After four years of destruction it is so great to hear the good he is doing every day.

Now call a recess and push the cabinet through. Let them seethe.

John Bolton not only had his security clearance taken away, but also his Secret Service protection, something I did not know he had.

Why would Bolton be given protection by the Secret Service; he's a former Secretary of State (I think he was a national security adviser also at one point) who left office perhaps six years ago. And he may have let some sensitive info into his book.

He may need to provide for his own security like the rest of we serfs and vassals.

DOJ to investigate state or local officials who obstruct immigration enforcement: memo
Trump DOJ wants federal prosecutors across the country to crackdown on officials who obstruct immigration enforcement

By Danielle Wallace , David Spunt , Jake Gibson | Fox News
Published January 22, 2025 9:06am EST

The Justice Department wants federal prosecutors across the country to investigate state or local officials who obstruct immigration enforcement under President Trump's new administration, according to a new memo obtained by Fox News.

"The Justice Department must, and will, work to eradicate these threats," Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, Trump's former defense attorney, wrote in the memo. "Indeed, it is the responsibility of the Justice Department to defend the Constitution and, accordingly, to lawfully execute the policies that the American people elected President Trump to implement."

The memo continued, "The Justice Department's responsibility, proudly shouldered by each of its employees, includes aggressive enforcement of laws enacted by Congress, as well as vigorous defense of the President's actions on behalf of the United States against legal challenges. The Department's personnel must come together in the offices that taxpayers have funded to do this vitally important work."

This article, CBS New - John Bolton's Secret Service protection discontinued by Trump administration, says Biden granted USS protection to Bolton in 2021 due to “…a series of threats from Iran linked to retaliation for a drone strike ordered by Mr. Trump during Bolton's tenure, resulting in the assassination Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.”

Excerpt from the article:
“Bolton and another former national security adviser under Mr. Trump, Robert O'Brien, required ongoing U.S. Secret Service protection long after they left their positions, both due to potential threats from Iran. For nearly one year of protection, the total for both individuals was $12,280,324, a bill paid by U.S. taxpayers, according to reports filed to Congress by former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and obtained by CBS' "60 Minutes" last year through a Freedom of Information Act request.”

I would suggest Bolton lay low for a bit while enjoying the protection our government provides the rest of us against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Thank, trapper. CBS had more info than Breitbart. And yes, he should stay off of the talking head circuit for a while and be discrete.

One of his rewards for throwing Trump under the bus. I hope the scumbag is fearful for his life, and yes, if he is shitting bricks right now, hire some private security- he's too much of a coward to protect himself.

Hell no.

I want him publicly ranting about why the US needs to attack other nations, especially Iran and Russia.

Rant away, Bolton.

Holy moly! Eek

I'm way curious what all six million dollars buys for a year's worth of protection. I figure half of that would buy me some nice land in Nowheresville, a well-secured modest (okay, really nice) home on that land, and a trimmer for that big ol' moustache. The other half pays some well-trained fellas really well to patrol and guard the place and to make the occasional grocery run for me? I could be wrong....

God bless America.

While I would expect some paperwork to process release, two days seems excessive. Does anyone know the true cause of the delays?
