Yes to that. Georgie was an owner surrender, she had been declawed, we will never know the circumstances of her ending up in the shelter, but she has become very close to us. Strangely, she prefers her dry cat food, won't eat other foods, but each night, she gets a tiny amount of warm milk given to her by Sunset. 美しい犬 | |||

We feel blessed with our rescue kitty. He used to live across the street from us and through a long set of circumstances involving a fire, a couple of moves, he became displaced. For a little over a year he was around the neighborhood, with several families providing him food. He would eat, but run away if anyone got within 7 feet of him. About three years ago, we noticed he had been injured. My wife contacted a nearby rescue group for some assistance. They provided a cage and said if we were able to catch him they would arrange for medical care and neutering. July 26th, 2013, he lay down on our front porch. Apparently he knew he was in need of help. He was skinny and very weak. She brought him inside, put a little food in him after calling the rescue people. The next morning, he went to the vet working with the rescue group. They were unsure how he may do afterwards due to his condition. Thankfully he didn't have feline aids or leukemia. For over a week, he did nothing but eat and sleep, and go to the litter box. Once he got his strength, he became extremely affectionate, especially with me. We are happy that he picked our home. He somehow knew that we would take good care of him. Sometimes he's sweet.
