took some knife pics and a great shot of our newest knife farm employee, Uncle Bob. although, it is usually pronounced, "UncaBob" around here. he is a Chigi, yep, half Corgi and half Chihuahua. never knew such a creature exited. he is our latest rescue pup. an actual living, breathing cartoon character.

Actually taken Thursday evening after 8pm, by the light of a security lamp:

It's a 17-foot high statue of Jesus in a garden at my church. (One of the children calls it "Big Scary Jesus".) It was a gift from a parishioner, and when the church agreed to accept it, they didn't know how big it was--they thought it would be about life-size, I guess. Imagine their surprise when this enormous statue arrived!

I heard the sound of radial engines and went out to investigate and saw this Ford Tri-Motor flying by. Not something you see every day.

The picture isn't great because it was a ways off so I had to go full 30x zoom with the Sony HX90V.
