Dang, sweet guy!

Where's the "like" button for a post like this!!!

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

And a little farther south today (Mt. Elbert; Colorado’s highest peak).

My brother lives in Elbert. Haven't been out to his place, but that's an amazing view.

After two years of ignoring this guitar as unplayable I finally lowered the string slots on this '04 rosewood/spruce Masterbilt. And went too deep on the B. I hate working on guitars!

So I tried something new. Titebond in the slot and then narrow - 0.017" - timpani skin laid flat.

It's trimmed up, tamped flat, and will get the string put back tomorrow. I'll be a'pickin' and a'grinnin' in no time.

Not really today, but the other day, I just now got it off my camera. Heard it coming, went inside the guardshack, grabbed my camera, and leaned out over the guardrail, didn't aim or anything, just fired it off, as the helicopter passed between the two buildings. I thought it came out pretty neat.

While in Moab, UT, we found some Agate that reminded me of Bacon. Finally got around to polishing some in my tumblers. Photographed in a 4" Lodge skillet.
