I love this. Bit of trivia: This is the actual "James Bond pattern," not that black and grey one that was never worn in a movie until Daniel Craig wore one in 'SPECTRE.' People thought Sean Connery wore one in 'Goldfinger,' but that was a misconception based on a black & white publicity photo.

^^^^ Yes, I also read that it was the authentic James Bond NATO band. Here's another shot on the wrist...

Newest arrival, just in from Down Under. PTCNSW (Public Transport Commission New South Wales) railroad watch. Last mechanical watch issued before they went to quartz watches.

That is really cool! I spent a little time in NSW and it surprised the hell out of me. I could actually live there, well at least for a few years. That is a neat watch!

While I was in Melbourne I believe it was the day before I met one of our fantastic Sigforum members I saw a public transit tram smack into the back of a mid size Toyota and spin it around almost 180°.

A plain-Jane Speedmaster with a plastic crystal is one of the few watches I've still got on my long-term, "I want" list. That is a nice one.

(Well, actually, that list is long-ish, but many of them are out of reach. Like a Patek perpetual calendar.)

Tooky 13, beautiful watch!

I've always had a thing for Rolex Submariners and the Omega Speedmasters.

To me, the Rolex only looks good with their Stainless bands. The Speedmasters look good with damn near any band. Stainless, NATO, leather, black, brown, blue...

That's so true CPD SIG, When I was checking out every kind of band that would look good with the Speedy, virtually all of the manufacturers would show samples of their nicest bands mounted on the Speedmaster Moonwatch. It was great to shop for bands and see what they would look like on your exact watch. Obviously, they have access to just about any watch they want, so you figure they pick the watch where their band looks the best.

rduckwor,

Very nice! I have heard excellent things about Helm watches. Their business model seems to mirror Rolex as far as managing to supply far fewer watches than current demand. Helm watches are DAMN hard to get easily unless you don’t mind paying twice the MSRP and IF you are lucky enough to find one for sale. Eek

I got on their email wait list and still missed out on the first chance to get a Helm Vanuatu due to how fast they sold out....they were gone in hours. My pre order Vanuatu should be completed sometime this summer.

I love the white dial on your Komodo. It’s a good looking watch.

I’ve been wearing this one quite a bit lately. I’m really digging the dial and red hands. These combat subs from Glycine are thin! All in all it’s a dang comfy watch that’s becoming one of my favs.

If it had the old style Glycine logo in white instead of silver with those awful wings it would have matched the white “SUB 20 ATM” and IMO would look so much better.

Cool lume. I just wish it was a little brighter.

Thanks, I have a first gen Vanuatu and a Khuruburi as well. If this man makes a watch, I will buy it. They are that good.
