My son and I reloaded 250 rounds of ,40 in about an hour and fifteen minutes using a single stage press and an old Lee priming tool. 700 more to go when I return home from BSA summer camp Saturday.

At the rate I'm going through pistol ammo, I want a 650 more than I want a Giraud. One of these days...

Today I loaded 100 rounds of 308, and 200 rounds of 45acp. Still need to load 500 more 45acp, and 800 rounds of 9mm before the weekend. Probably should load some more 223 and 300blk too. *sigh*

Loaded some .223 with 77 Berger OTM's and 8208 XBR. Good news it they performed great. Bad news is the 300 wing mag didn't. Going to disassemble 40 rounds and re-prime. Then when I get the new GemPro scale I'll re-powder. Looking at tricklers now, Omega or the new Hornady. Decisions, decisions. It has unfortunately put the prep center on hold Frown

What caliber are those cases and what is that ridge supposed to be, a substitute for a cannelure?

Very thick on the bottom. Reduced internal volume. Could be trouble. If you Google AMMOLAND 9MM you'll find some more info.

Like Flash-LB said those are usable brass. Most of these I have seen are 380acp. They were PD/HD ammo originally. You just need to select your bullet carefully and workup your load for the smaller case volume.

Loaded 500 45ACP.

Going upstairs for dinner, then maybe reload some 9mm.

Took my bucket of scrap brass & primers to the yard today. 38.7# got me $52.25, and they took the primers! :P

My 2.5 lb. order of stainless tumbling pins arrived today. Threw in a handful of already "cleaned" brass for about 15 minuets.
WOW, could not believe the difference, the water was filthy.

So, starting tomorrow, all my "clean" brass is going to get a quick bath with the pins.

Just remember that cleaning will affect your neck tension.

Lube the neck with Mica or graphite for the rifle rounds.

Loading the 8208/75 OTM's for a AR?

What's your load for your 300WM? Guys around me shooting 300WM's seem to have a easy time tuning them with H1000. Can get load specifics from them if you like.

Been using the Omega for about three years, great product.

Yup, the 77's are for an AR. At 2.260 OAL they mag feed from my 20 round Lancers perfectly. The rifle has a 20 inch Pac-Nor with a 1/8 twist and Wylde chamber. They put forth a nice showing at 200 yards but I hope to take them further soon.

At the moment my .300 load is Hornady brass,CCI mag primer, 77.2 grains of H1000 and the Berger 230gr. OTM. It's getting me 2920-2970 fps but my ES is too high. I'll hopefully get both the Omega trickler and GemPro scale by early next week. If that doesn't narrow it up I'll try different primers. Unfortunately large rifle primers are still pretty scarce around here.

I'd love to hear what some other are running if you don't mind asking.

Wisconsin SigForum shoot today.

Didn't load anything.

Spent up quite a bit. ~50 .308, ~200 300BLK, ~100 .223, ~200 .45ACP, and a few 9mm & 40 S&W.

Picked up most of the pistol brass, and all of the rifle brass. I'll process it tomorrow.

Got my Form 1 back this morning. The Form 4's for my paid of 762-SDN-6s should be in my SOTs email box, but I have been able to get ahold of him. I think we went out of town for the weekend.

Looks like it's time to crack into those 14 pounds of 1680 I have and whip up some 220s. It's gonna be a quiet range trip next trip! Can't wait!!!

But even that will have to wait, at least until tomorrow. Being out in the blazing sun from 10AM - 7PM has me just about spent. Time for bed.

Thanks for the info ! I see I'm really burning some powder. I received the Omega trickler but was informed 4 days after placing the order that the scale isn't in stock. Damn Amazon ! Found one in stock elsewhere and reordered.

Your welcome.

Ya, guessing your load is on the warm side. Been shooting with both these 300WM guys for a few years in matches, I view these two guys as middle of the road as far pushing things.

I fussed with my Omega a little to get it to drop one grain consistently regardless of powder/kernel size. Having the base pointing away from the tube about 90 degrees works well on mine, hope that makes sense.

Offgrid ,

If you don't mind asking when you see them again, see if they run a standard or magnum primer. I would appreciate to hear what other folks are running. I'm getting ready to do a primer test myself over the next couple days.

My loading is over book max but so far I haven't seen any pressure signs. No flat or cratered primers and no markings on the brass. I haven't pushed it further because I'm in the range my OCW testing highlighted. Plus I'm happy with the speeds I'm getting out of the 26" Bartlien.

Thanks for the tip on the Omega. Going to set it up and try it out tomorrow. Unfortunately I have to break out my old beam scale to verify charge weights. The GemPro will not be in hand for a few days.
