I don't use NRA Carry Guard, but from what I've read they reimburse your legal fees after the case is done, so you would likely have to pay for any costs yourself first (unless your lawyer waits until Carry Guard reimburses you before seeking payment). As I've mentioned elsewhere, I use ACLDN. I've also heard of people using 2 or more different services to cover their bases. As to whether or not you reallly need it, that's for you and your family to decide. I assessed my costs/benefits, and decided it was worth it to me.
