Jimg1960U.S. & Texas Lawshield
Does anyone know anything about this company? It seems their pricing isn’t to awful bad for the coverage they offer. My second question is do I need this? My wife and I both carry concealed and there are “horror stories” everywhere. I don’t believe a third of what I read and a half of what I see...could use some solid advice.

220-9erI posted this in another thread about CCW "insurance" that might be cause for concern.
https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...0601935/m/8140099344https://www.leagle.com/decision/intxco20161220863While it is a case about the validity of making it a class action, it explains a lot about what they do.
Looks like snake oil to me but I'm not a lawyer.

Jimg1960I’m sorry to create the same topic. I will look more diligently next time. Since it’s here does anyone use the nra carry guard? Ive asked them a few questions...the nra and I seem to be on different planets.

Jimg1960I just tried to read the lawsuit. Interesting read. It’s a couple of lawyers that you pay to be on retainer. their being sued for hiring someone to solicit during ccw training classes. Couldn’t you just say no thanks? People always looking for their free ride...

I don't use NRA Carry Guard, but from what I've read they reimburse your legal fees after the case is done, so you would likely have to pay for any costs yourself first (unless your lawyer waits until Carry Guard reimburses you before seeking payment).
As I've mentioned elsewhere, I use ACLDN. I've also heard of people using 2 or more different services to cover their bases.
As to whether or not you reallly need it, that's for you and your family to decide. I assessed my costs/benefits, and decided it was worth it to me.

az4783054NY has banned the NRA CCW plan (Bloomberg effort to discourage gun enthusiasts?) The anti 2A ACLU is addressing this on behalf of the NRA but it could spread to similar plans...
