I finished it last night. I'm a bit underwhelmed.

I can generally put aside the whole book vs movie thing (though I refuse to watch Without Remorse as it’s my favorite novel and with the war in Afghanistan and human trafficking being what it is today they very easily could’ve adapted it to a modern setting) but one thing that bugged me is the opening credits show his dog tags. They say “no preference” for religion. In the books Ryan’s religion is very important to him. But I’m sure that was washed out because it isn’t hip to embrace Christianity anymore.
