*** SPOILER POST *** The timeline doesn’t add up. When he appears at the end of the film, he should’ve been completely preoccupied with dodging a multi-million-dollar bounty. She originally meets him when he’s “punching his ticket” and heading out to Casablanca and Sophia.— so seeing him pop up at the end felt out of place and pulled me out of the story. Honestly, they would’ve been better off leaving him out of that early scene with her altogether. I’m guessing his appearance will somehow be explained as some allegiance to the Director and Ruska Roma, but his appearance just felt forced. 6 out of 10 ballerina slippers ***.
