Wonder when this was made... they still show Lance Reddick as the Continental hotel manager (who was also Police Chief in Bosch) and he died in 2023?

The timeline doesn’t add up. When he appears at the end of the film, he should’ve been completely preoccupied with dodging a multi-million-dollar bounty. She originally meets him when he’s “punching his ticket” and heading out to Casablanca and Sophia.— so seeing him pop up at the end felt out of place and pulled me out of the story.
Honestly, they would’ve been better off leaving him out of that early scene with her altogether. I’m guessing his appearance will somehow be explained as some allegiance to the Director and Ruska Roma, but his appearance just felt forced.

TonydecWatched it this week. Even with the good reviews I wasn't expecting much. It was much better than I expected. There were a couple of scenes where I thought to myself, "Here we go," referring to some of the ridiculousness of Wick 4, but they didn't go there.

GocadMaybe it´s just me, but I do think it might have been alright had they stopped after the first one.

The majority of this movie falls within the six months that occurs between the third and fourth
John Wick movies. He is still excommunicado so, like you, I'm confused as to how he wasn't treated as such.
Another continuity error I noticed is that the Director, played by Anjelica Huston, isn't wounded from the punishment she received in the third movie. If you recall, her punishment was being skewered through the hands with a sword. In
Ballerina, she has no scars.
While I know there is a high possibility of there being a fifth
John Wick, I hope they find a way to justify why there's such a widespread assassin population in the world. It's a bit ridiculous.

konata88I like Ana. Having waited for months for the movie to become available for free streaming, I'm disappointed and left wanting. Character wasn't very compelling and seemed like a bit miscast. I found myself wanting the movie to just end.
Too bad because I do like Ana. She was good in the Bond film. She wasn't convincing here, at least for me.
