Oddly enough, besides the whole X-Men thing and Star Trek...the movie that first sprang to mind was one called Safe House where he was a former DIA agent and has Alzheimers. This message has been edited. Last edited by: AllenInAR,

Just saw it also on MSN. It's been a bad week for passings; Walter Koenig, Elke Sommer, Susan St. James, and several soap opera stars in addition to Mr. Stewart. I thought he was great as Capt. Picard.
ETA: And John Anderson also passed this week.

He was on an episode of "Frasier", season 11 episode 3, titled "The doctor is out". Sir Patrick played a gay orchestra conductor who thought that Frasier was also gay. Great comic chops and a hilarious episode.
He'll always be remembered as the Captain of the Enterprise for my generation. There was one interview somewhere that he said that if he knew how big the role of Captain Picard would have gotten, he would have said no and regretted it. At least a Star Trek fan was somehow able to make Picard Season 3 so he went out as the legend he was instead of the piece of shit modern leftists want our heroes to end up.
RIP.

That was a good one. When I finally got into ST, it was he and his crew that sucked me in. I'm partial but I think TNG is the best. Don't try to change my mind.

a friend commented that he would be remember to Gen X and older as Picard, and newer gens as Proffessor X
either way, as a Boomer, I remember him as Gurney Haleck and Picard,
