everyone says its funny as hell.

after watching the 1st episode, Its not the least bit funny, just mean spirited and tainted.

J.L.D. is way too good an actress to do crap like this.
but obviously I am not in the target demographic

Thanks for the post. I've been wondering about watching it but now will avoid it.

I think it has lots of funny moments, out of the maybe dozen episodes I've seen.

Mean and tainted? It's campy political humor.

What in particular was so off putting?

I'll have to (re)watch the first episode, as I don't recall any specifics.

It's not my favorite, but it's not bad. Nothing offensive, at least to me.

but after giving it some thought , it reminds me of seinfeld , some what.

Nothing gets achieved in the whole show,there are 5 skeevie people who are pretty much a-holes.

there are three subjects that you hope will go somewhere , but they never do.

take away the foul language and meaness and you would have seinfeld part two

I couldn't get into it, really gave it a good try though.

I watched a few seasons of it, while it wasn't the best thing since using a guide to slice your own bread, it was far from the worst thing on TV and good for some laughs
