They wrapped up the terrorist arc way too early. They should have made it ongoing. But to do that it probably would have necessitated a foreign enemy, involving way too much un-PC profiling. As someone mentioned earlier, the series settled down to just a show about a President running the country. Even with the quality maintained (which it has), it's no longer anything special.

The season 2 finale this coming Wednesday will also serve as the series finale.

Realize this is a necropost, but my wife and I just started watching this series on Netflix.

We lasted longer than that. We've been binge-watching three-four episodes/evening.

Last night we hit E15. That's where the gun control stuff starts. Along about E18, when they were still carrying on with it, I told my wife "If they don't get off the leftist themes I won't be watching any more of this."

It looks like that's what this series is going to be all about: The benevolent government and the evil right-wing extremists.

I expect I won't be able to tolerate much more of it. In fact I'm going to suggest to my wife we find something else to watch.

I didn't realize this was originally an ABC production, or I would've skipped it right out of the gate.

ETA: Just mentioned this to my wife, who shook her head and reluctantly agreed with my assessment of the show.

I am a big fan of KS in 24 but I could only take one season of this garbage.

How did I forget about this series? I commented on page 1 and then never watched it....til the last couple of nights. Nearing the end of season one. Corny parts, but has me interested.

The first half of the first season was good. The series went 2 seasons on ABC, then got picked up by Netflix for a third and final season. I've only seen the first two.

Get ready to puke when you watch the 3rd season.

The first two seasons were, on balance, pretty good.

Now into season two by about three episodes.

They've certainly tested my patience as I've seen from a lot of posts here. It seems of the two-three plots going on in each episode, only one is really good.

As others said season one and two were decent. Obviously don't agree with some of the messaging but it was well written. Then the turds at Netflix got ahold of it and every episode is a flavor of the weak liberal cause. Trashy as hell.

^^^ Yes, as soon as season three came around, I noticed a distinct difference in the entire feel of the show...not for the better. I think I'm three shows in. I'll dig in and see how it goes before bailing at this point. I read it's a ten episode season, though the episodes are longer.

So far the only plot that interests me is ex-FBI, now CIA Hannah Wells story.

Haha! Well, it sure went full woke and at times I turned away feeling dirty. But I persevered and watched til the end. Some very interesting and controversial issues.
