Big deal the government hates us more than it does Islam anyway so it's more realistic.

Sutherland is a bonafide liberal hack. Considering the way conservative pundits have embraced Sutherland’s TV show 24 and his terrorist-fighting character Jack Bauer, you might assume the actor’s politics lean to the right. You’d be wrong.

Here’s what he told interviewer Charlie Rose:

I believe inherently that we have a responsibility to take care of each other, so when you talk about socialized health care: absolutely, that’s a no-brainer. Free universities: absolutely, that’s a no-brainer. So, in the definition, I guess those are leaning toward socialist politics. To me, it’s common sense.

On top of that, he endorsed Barack Obama, supports gun control, and donated a whopping $30,600 to the Democratic National Committee in 2009. So, sorry to disappoint you conservatives, but Sutherland is nowhere near the right side of politics.

He sucks and is not worthy of my time...

Something I thought I saw on first viewing, but had to wait for the screen-cap. This is Agent Wells pursuing Nestor Lozano. She has not let off a first round yet. Notice anything peculiar about her gun?

It gets worse if you keep watching, when she enters the house at the end of that chase, her Sig turns into a GLOCK (but hey, at least the slide is in battery at that point)

I actually lean toward artistic license with regard to minor firearm errors in tv and movies, but this is jarring. How does something like this get past the technical advisors?

I doubt they'll be any NFL kneeling or anything else tonight, as that script must've been written months ago. But all bets are off come, say, November

"Ceramic knives".

Well, not the most exciting season opener, but I guess they're setting stages for later episodes.

Oh, and Emily drinks goji kombucha.

Wow, Bonnie Bedalia. Almost didn't recognize her at first.

And an interesting special look into Patrick Lloyd's inner motivations. Revenge below a pretense of political radicalism. Reminds me of the villainesse in the last 24 (with Kiefer Sutherland).

The tension in this episode built nicely. Makes up for last week's limpid opener. Glad I gave the writers the benefit of the doubt.

Rather surprised that Lloyd is already dead. The trailers for next week mentioned new enemies, so they're really leaving things open-ended. Wondering how quickly this degenerates into a weekly formula program.

I thought the end was too much. No person has that much bad luck. I am sure the Secret Service wouldn't allow something like that to happen.

She always annoyed me. Good riddance!

Agent Wells is a moron...I want to know what was in his pocket (if anything) did she seriously just walk away and leave him in the river like nothing happened? So sick of her too...what an idiot.

CANCELED!

Another show that had great promise but was ruined by liberal screenwriters.

When will they ever learn?
