Watching The Pitt on HBO Max. It's the most realistic emergency room drama I've ever seen. The personalities, interaction with patients and each other really make each episode exciting. At least to me and the wife. If you watch it I hope you enjoy it. Fan of Sig, Colt, S&W, Beretta, Browning, etc, etc.

I have been wanting to see it but we do not have HBO. I sort of remember watching ER back in the day. Since the lawsuit, I wanted to see the Pitt and compare the two. The estate of ER creator Michael Crichton is suing Noah Wyle, producers, and Warner Bros. TV, alleging his new medical drama, The Pitt, is an unauthorized reboot of ER. The lawsuit claims the show breaks a 1994 contract requiring approval for spin-offs and constitutes a "shameful betrayal" of Crichton's legacy

Couple of pages of discussion here from back in Season 1: https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...0601935/m/3850055415 Season 2 is almost as good as Season 1, with the same headlong pace, snappy dialogue, and rapid fire medical cases. The acting and character development continues to be excellent in the second season. However, it leans even a little heavier into Hollywood-style political commentary at a few points. Even with the occasional glimpse of wokeness, it's still my favorite series of the past couple years.

Two of my coworkers spoke incredibly highly of this show. I haven’t seen it yet but I plan on fixing that soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance
