I always suspected golf could be dangerous.

A 10 ga slug transmits nearly 100x energy than the golf ball at the same velocity (1200 FPS).

Due to the fact the goofball absorbs a tremendous amount of rebound energy transferred from forward motion impacting with the immovable target (the armored car) as well as "Lost/dissipated" energy in the "destruction" of the ball. (evidenced by the "heat/flash")

But impact to the human body, much less energy lost/dissipated or transferred from rebound or destruction of the ball, so it would act more like a slug and impart a greater damage to the body by transfer of more energy to the body.

I don't want to be shot by no damned golf ball...
