Whatever I was doing, I’d be sure to be free to tune in at 12:07 pm weekdays … that’s when the news and local ads would finish and that bass line from “My City Was Gone” would start. It was appointment radio. Five days a week. I was hoping Mark Steyn would step into the slot… but life had other plans for Mr. Steyn. The duo that replaced Rush just doesn’t do it for me. Agreed! I first listened to Rush when he was in Sacramento. Some folks at the naval nuclear shipyard I was at mentioned his broadcast so I tuned in and got hooked.
