Angel Studios really has been knocking them out of the park.
We have an Angel Studios Guild membership and I highly encourage you to get one too. The shows and movies are great.
Good, wholesome, family messages. So wonderful amongst all the rest of the crap Hollywood is putting out.
Caught this one in the theater tonight and was very glad we did.

Saw it yesterday.

Without giving spoilers - which would be necessary to explain the reasons - while I liked the early part and it was well done, my buddy and I didn't stay to watch the end.

Just put a spoilers warning on your post.
Curious why you did not finish the film.

That's reasonable. Not everyone will share my reasons or my friend's. I need to think about how to explain without spoilers.

OK. I know German fairly well, well enough that I can tell when Google Translate is working adequately, and so here goes. Anyone who cares to know my reasons, doesn't mind spoilers and doesn't know German can put the below into Google Translate.

Spoiler-Alarm.

As Joel said, the problem with knowing history is . . . well it makes it difficult to watch some movies.

I also felt this way about Valkyrie.

I know that many (even my friends) will criticize me on this but these characters are alive in my soul, I have read their stories.

An exception was "we were soldiers once." I had read the book, but watched the movie anyway. once.

Joel,
