Barbarian at the Gate |
Learn something new every day, at least for me. I am sure some here know but Coppola inserted Luca's practicing his speech to Don Corleone because the actor, Lenny Montana, butchered his lines in the speech scene when he met the Don. This was to save the scene to portray Luca as nervous and bumbling with the Don. I always wondered why Luca's character in the movie differed from fierce assassin portrayed in the book. The lead up to that story I'd seen (and found here) was this started with James Caan's involvement too. Link Our all time top 3 movies ever, impossible to order beyond that. You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02 | |||
