Never really liked the rest of the song all that much, but its intro was epic. Especially if you were a Bulls fan like I admittedly was during the Jordan era.

As for a song I actually DID like...

A 2 minute and 30 second intro. If not the best, dang sure the longest.

I've always been kind of partial to this intro.

Figured Beato would have something along these lines on his channel. You can get pretty deep down the rabbit hole looking at this stuff he produces. Some of these 20 are debatable, of course...

@6guns....the drum licks from Bill Bruford on "Heart of the Sunrise" are PHENOMENAL!!!

"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

I’m so old I got to see them tour the album, Who’s Next

This one, not because it’s was just an incredible intro, but because it was important in rock history. I recently read that Ray Dave Davies opened up an amplifier, took a razor blade and cut slits into the speaker cone to get this rough, raw, overdriven sound—this in the time before pedals.
