I think it is quite the perfect movie. Going to queue it up to watch tomorrow morning I think, it's been over a year since I've watched.

I got to see The Maltese Falcon on the big screen a few years ago. They had a pristine copy and it was glorious. Of course I have owned several copies and seen it many times but it was something special to see it as it was meant to be seen.
I also hate that when you see this movie on TV it has been edited for time etc.So much nuance is lost with theses cuts.

As mentioned by others, African Queen and Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

Then to Key Largo, The Big Sleep.

Then watch some Robert Mitchum film noir.
