Who else is watching? I think my wife said there are currently only 10 new episodes, but all the old seasons are there too.

One of the guys here mentioned that Hulu has started making new 'KotH' episodes again to coincide with the launch of a new 'Alamo' branded beer.

The guy that voiced Dale has passed along with the girl who voiced Luanne. They HAD to replace Dale. He ain't the same but sometimes is almost acceptable). It's like he can't breathe through his nose or something and they just don't include Luanne in the new stuff.

I never knew it, but our T-Mobile account includes free access to Hulu (ad supported). So I held my nose and signed up.

We intend to watch all the old seasons when we finish the new ones.

Sort of thread drift:

The first time Mrs. PHPaul saw KotH, her first comment was that Hank was modeled after my oldest brother, Chuck. Even looks a bit like him.

Its worth the watch - I loved the original series and the transition to older versions of those characters is spot on. I hope it continues, the 10 episodes go fast and none of them were stinkers

Big Grin

Loved the old King of the Hill, this looks to be a good continuation.

I was looking forward to this and was enjoying it until the last episode I watched where Bobby's hippy girlfriend takes a dump on Jerry Jones' desk. Really? How was that garbage even remotely necessary in this show? Roll Eyes

I hope the rest of it is worth watching but I'm not holding my breath.

Ha ha, yeah my wife and I both thought that was a bridge too far as well.

Don't worry, I don't remember anything else that compares to this incident. Big Grin

Felt like good ol King of the Hill which I'm happy about. Just as good and cringe inducing as the previous seasons

Mike Judge is always great, King of the Hill is no exception.
I don't have HULU so gotta find it elsewhere if possible.

For the record, Johnny Hardwick the original voice of Dale, did record some of the first episodes before he passed away. The new guy doesn't take over until episode 6 I believe.

Some of it was good, Peggy is still as obnoxious as ever and almost caused me to shut the first episode off. I haven't watched more than the first couple episodes yet though.

I'm not sure if I like or hate the aged look of the characters though. Especially because it's an in-your-face reminder that I'm getting older as well.
