Briefly, this is a film about the relationship between George Whitefield (pronounced witt-field) and Benjamin Franklin. Most of the action takes place from 1740 to 1781. If you are at all interested in the role of Christianity in the early history of the USA, you will enjoy this.
Production values are very good, the casting of the leads is excellent and the story is not well known, so you'll probably learn something (I did).
