Not a bad little limited series Western. Kind of the quintessential two feeding families, with some love interest between the two. Both families ran by the Matriarch. However I did not find it anti Patriarch that seems to be so overflowing in current shows. It was more of the welp our Husbands are dead and we have to do what we have to do as mothers. Binged it with my lady, not bad but not great. Script was meh. Easily guessed Ryan Hurst’s character had a past that was expected. Sutter left before the final episodes were finished. I’d be surprised if there is a second season though they left numerous plot points unresolved. “Posterity! You will never know how much it cost the present Generation to preserve your Freedom!
