I swear I had something for this |
Liam Neeson has done quite a bit with Seth McFarlane and I loved him as the villain in "A Million Ways to Die in the West."

He may have the same initials, but he's no Leslie Nielsen. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

If you're a fan of Seth McFarlane's humor, I wouldn't get your hopes up. The studio is using his name to help market the film, but aside from being a producer, he has little-to-no involvement in it (i.e., script, directing). Steven Spielberg was an executive producer on all the Transformers and Men In Black franchise movies, but nobody considers those Spielberg films.

I haven’t been to a Liam Nesson movie since a long time ago. That preview is about as far from funny as Rosie O'Donnell is from sexy. This message has been edited. Last edited by: onegeek,

Leslie Nielson nailed the role as Frank Drebin. It just seemed natural for him, like Bruce Willis in Die Hard. They just go well together and are made for each other. I don't see Neeson in this role or even doing it half as good.

Saw a preview today and it looked terrible.

I'm slowly feeling cautiously optimistic. Akiva Schaffer has nailed some of the Zucker comedic moments, and I've liked a lot of stuff from The Lonely Island.

Having been to the theatre a couple of times the last month, I had to endure the movie screen trailer for this remake. If this trailer is indicative of the quality of the film, there is no reason for me to go. ------- Trying to simplify my life...

My prediction? It's gonna suck bad. There's no Leslie Nielsen and our society is too PC and woke now to make a raunchy Naked Gun type movie anymore where EVERYONE gets made fun of no matter what.

I dunno...I may have to watch it to see if there are any more jokes at OJ's expense. _______________________________ The artist formerly known as AllenInWV

I saw it; it was funny! More funny than I had expected anyway. Nelson plays the straight man very well and his chemistry with Pam Anderson is amazing. It dragged on a bit towards the end, but overall I thought it was worth a watch and laugh out out loud a dozen times or so. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

I will admit that the scene in the trailers of the Spirit Halloween store sign being hung out at the Police Squad HQ got a good chuckle out of me.
